should i use hps the whole grow or should i led for veg then use hps? and what does it mean when they say u wait a week for a bigger crop i didn't understand that part?

If you have an LED, why not use it during veg? If you only have HPS, it'll work, but if you have the LED, do it to it brother.
As for waiting a week, I'm not sure what you mean. Maybe veg a week longer? Maybe harvest a week late?

I would use the led over HPS for veg. Less electricity and less heat. Also I personally think they work better for veg than HPS. I use a 90W LED ufo for veg and it works awesome. I have 8 plants under it right now.
As for wait a week for a bigger crop. I think what there saying is when you think it might be done but not totally sure. Give it another week and chop it down. Giving it that extra week can give you more yield or higher potency or both.
