The news sucks.
I prefer to remain ignorant in most of the happenings in the US. It is infuriating most of the time and I have more important shit to take care of. Like school.

How is calculus being brainwashed?

Public schools are a necessity. We do not want millions of dumb people walking around.
Sure public school does some brainwashing as you call it. Overall the greater good far outweighs the negatives.
Having a public that can read, write, calculate easy numbers, be sociable, and just learning about life is a good thing in my mind.

Maths and sciences just explain the world that we live in.
