my carpet started doing all these crazy patterns and moving and shit and i got slight visuals, such as little black spots on my wall turned into bugs and they started moving everywhere.
definitely didn't breakthrough but got some effects. might try again but definitely not by vaporizing, my lungs hate me right now and it's the nastiest taste ever.

also while holding the smoke in i was counting to 20... lost count around 8 and completely forgot what i was doing, just laid down flat and felt a rush. pupils got big and colors seemed brighter.

Well I guess I can't comment on purity, but maybe you just need to suck more and hold longer.
I had someone light it for me while I held the pipe and took a massive hit. I ended up dropping the pipe and exhaling probably sooner than I could of, though.
