My main trade. A tid bit more advance is fire poi. Kevlar wicks attached to chains dipped in white gas (naptha). People think of it as hippies flailing around balls on a string but it's much more technical than that.

Actually poi does not burn you that bad if your a 5 year vet like me. I have performed in parades and kept my props lit for hours, occasionally hitting my arm and searing my flesh, but heh no skin grafts, that is the worst that has ever happened. White gas can easily be put out.

However anyone has every right to say fire breathing is dangerous because it is. You need to make sure your downwind and do it right otherwise you can breath in fire or light your mouth on fire.
