Ever heard of PrismaColor art pencils?
They are like 2 dollars a pencil! 
I am taking a new art class, so hopefully I will brush up and learn some new stuff and have more to contribute to the art thread. :aliendace:
Anyway, I had to buy the 24 pack of the prismacolor colored pencils for the class, and it was 44 bucks.
I got a 40% off coupon, so it only came to about 27, but it's crazy.
The pencils are supposed to be pretty damn dank though, so I look forward to posting some sweet ass art here soon.

They are a nice quality. I think they are overpriced, but I also don't put a high value on colored pencils in my shop.

great quality, when i used to draw regularly, i used nothing but prismacolor coloured pencils to colour my drawings. however, as CrayolaHalls said, they are a bit overpriced.

i've got a huge stash of them in every colour imaginable (was given several very large sets for a few Christmases in a row). i dun need no more coloured pencils, d00d.

if you squat real low in the caveman position and boil your turds in various pots of water mixed with coloured clay and let the poop dry in the sun you can make your own coloured pencils.

ive used the markers back in the prime of my graff writing. i did a lotttttt of stickers and i used them for fades on stuff. i wish i had some pics but all the good ones went up outside. ive got a wall of about 1000 stickers that werent good enough for da streetZ.

I don't post anything cause I don't like to share very often. It was hard enough for me to post pictures of plants I helped someone else grow. I'm not looking for external validation or comparison.

Not sure if its been said yet, but the price is definitely worth it. Be careful not to drop them though, because the lead is so soft it'll crack the pencil up and ruin it.

Yeah I had to buy these expensive ass map pencils once back in Art in High School. My mom bitched about how needlessly expensive they were and I only used them once the entire semester.
The reason they are so expensive is because the engraved letters on each pencil is solid gold. The shaft of each pencil is made out of sterling silver and the lead is made of a rare material found in certain south american rain forests that is very brittle and hard to come by.
