I don't know, I was about to a few months ago, and recovered it, but I finally got rid of mine, it most defiantly hard to do, the only reason I made one was so I could keep in touch with my old homies, which they never did.
So I deleted it, this video kind of helped.

Well done video.
I purged everything from my Facebook page last June for many of the same reasons the video mentioned. I feel clean now. Well, I did until I saw GG's tits.

I never even got a Myspace or Facebook. Growery and Shroomery are much more beneficial for me.
If i had a Facebook then i would spend wayy too much time on the computer

Me too. I have family and professional 'friends' too. So i have to keep it relatively tame in there. I post about my beliefs and such, to some degree, but anything relating to me taking drugs is a no no. I don't need a surprise drug test at work because of what some asshole wrote on my wall. I can't understand why some people post every dull detail of their lives on there. I suppose it could be cool if you do that for like 4 years then go back on it and review it like a journal or something. But i have the growery and shroomery for that. Here's where i can be myself.  Growery for the win!

is that your facebook name too? When I registered for facebook i used the name furrowedBrow. that was back in college, around 05 or so (back when it was only open to college students). Then i used it at the shroomery and sullied that name. So i use my real one now.

I love my facebook. I check it almost everyday - although, I do see some really weird social interactions on it...and I mean really really weird. I can see why someone might want to stop using theirs. I've been a member of Myspace as well; since before it had private profiles and videos...whooo. I think the whole social networking thing will blow over once people realize they are spending way too much time doing nothing with nothing when they can (and should) be doing nothing with something.

Bs. I dated hundreds of women. Ironically the only women I'd ever consider being serious with ever, are ones that come from my home town growing up. Are you aware it's 10,000 easier to find a woman from your home town on facebook then on any other dating site?
Same thing with Myspace. I used to use that for dating. If anything Facebook is the ultimate dating site. Why? It's not FOR dating. Any woman that is on a dating site is aggressively seeking some wack relationship. Totally a waste of time.
Plus I have more then 4 friends. I'm not a loser like the guy in the video. In fact, I make more then 4 friends almost each year. It's nice to keep in contact with some of them you loose contact with. I change phones so often I loose all numbers or just purposely wipe my phone to get rid of all the clutter in the phone.
If you can't handle FB, then whatever. Fact is Facebook is if not the most successful company in the WORLD right now, it sure ain't far off. I used to work for a electrical contractor who built all their new data facilities. I'm talking they were spending Billions annually on new server farms. That was last year.
I'd say Facebook is worth more then Google at this point. If it isn't already, it will be. Later.

Acquaintances are people I meet, maybe visit a few times, and then mostly move on. Friends are people that I am close with, share with, go on road trips with, and talk to so often that I never fear losing contact. I have social skills and real friends and a great wife I met through face to face interaction. FB can't improve any of that.

unless you talk with them using facebook. I talk to at least 4 people on facebook regularly who I have either never met, met briefly and then became friends over chat or phone, or have moved away. And I use facebook chat for that, or skype when I feel like seeing them.
In highschool I was pretty terrified of social interaction face to face, online chat was a godsend considering I didn't get out much. Most of the chicks I've dated, if not all of them have been asked out/courted over the internet or texts. Even though they lived in the same town.
Then again now I do debate and forensics and have since lost the shyness, and pretty much just accept that I over think shit to much.

I only have like 35 people on my facebook thing. I never used it, but I started it up again. I keep it strictly for people I honestly want to talk to.

I got kicked off facebook once for spamming people to join my Zombie army. I was an addict. Now I'm on again and I check it once every other month or so. I always say I'm going to delete my account, but that would require logging on......
