There was just a big news article in my area about how a party full of kids died from mixing a stimulant with a depressant. They each drank 4 of those and died.
I had them before, but I don't care much for it. I do like the Joose brand however

I've drank it. It did not taste bad. It was like drinking a real punchy energy drink. I could not taste the alcohol. I drank two of them and felt really buzzed. I did not get anything insane from them like the web videos are suggesting. I can be sensitive to sugar sometimes and I did feel a little crappy the next morning.
I'm just going to stick with my Guinness and Bass, but those were fun to try once.

They arent bad for the price, but they dont taste good (unless you have the taste buds of an alcoholic candy addict) but will get you faded, always gets me into party mode
they do have like 660 calories from sugar though so i try not to drink em that often

Seemed off to me too, but I remember it coming on the TV the other night while I was at my aunts house, because she was yelling at me not to drink them.
They didn't die from the alcohol itself, it was the combo. According to the news anyway. I just searched it up, I can't find the specific one, just one about how its bad because its encouraging kids to drink or some shit.
The Arabs that ran the gas station in town used to sell them to me when I was like 14. I remember a screen would pop up and say "21 YES OR NO" and he would "x" it out and sell them to us

They are a good way to gear up for a party though.
On Fridays I have to wake up at 5am and when it's finally time to party I'm exhausted so I'll usually grab a four loko ($3 - 1 coffee, 4 beers) or a high gravity 24oz ($1 - 8 beers)

At some point you have to start blaming the consumer. It does say in about 3/4" letters 12% ALCOHOL on it.
