So, I posted that picture of the beach the other day. I went searching for shit all over the beach today, and found this:
It looks like a still to me kinda, but its only ~6 inches in diameter so I wasn't sure. The left side has an unscrewable cap, the top has some kind of fixture on it that can have something threaded into it, and the thing on the left is a twisty knob that says "CLOSE" with an arrow on it.
Any ideas?

Yeah, thats what I figured.
I'm just trying to figure out what this thing is now  Part of someones meth lab? (lol I only say that because theres lots of meth around here. I know nothing about meth labs)

I didnt see the 6 inches part, thats a good guess.
Could also be some sort of oiler.

I'm thinking its a lantern of some sort. I'm gonna ask my grampa tomorrow sometime, I'll let you know what he says.
