My friends from the army came to visit last night and we found a bar downtown with $1 tequila shots. Did not end well

and it's even worse with $1 tequila shots and beautiful women. They must have spent $100 just at that one bar, I had to carry one of them to the taxi

Ah the good old days lol. 1$ tequila I could imagine that not ending well, and like you said add beautiful women to the mix damn. I hope they set aside some of there pay checks lol. I remember going out on a weekend and then straining to get by the rest of the month, the only advantage to living on post(free food and housing lol). Wish you friends well(and hope you feel better too Harry) and a safe time

well they just got back from a one year tour overseas so they've got a pretty significant portion saved up. Get paid extra for a year but they can't spend a penny of it over there so they come back pretty well off. Well, until we do a couple nights like that
I didn't know you served Kilroy, what branch were you in?

Army Desert Storm/ first Gulf War lol. I say lol only in the reference that the stuff in Iraq now seems to just be a continuation of the first and if they would have just let us finish the job they would not be there now for JR trying to get even for his daddy(sorry I have bad feelings about how our men and women are getting put in harms way agn)

I have bad feelings about it to. It's just a total shitstorm out there from what I hear and it's a completely unjustified war, just makes me sick. Were you army? My friends are 82nd Airborne Rangers

Yes Army. The thing that bugged me the most about Obama and the main reason I voted for him is that he said he would bring our troops home and I have not seen alot of them coming home yet. I had a couple of friends re-up because they can not leave their brothers behind, I understand this feeling, hell I thought about rejoining when we first went back, but my better half(aka old lady) would not have any part of it, she hates what the first one did to me.

It has been a little chilly here but I am on the other side of the state from Duluth. Make sure you brings some fall clothes mostly for night tho.
It is a beautiful area up around there.

North Shore is by far my favorite part of the state. So fucking beautiful and lots of things to do outdoors. The small-scale "mountains" are great to hike.
I try to make it up there at least once a year. Now that I'm going to get back into snowboarding, I plan to ride up there for the majority, since it's pretty much the mountains of the midwest...
