Buds not "Frosty"
    #401310 - 04/14/10 12:27 PM (13 years, 11 months ago)

Got one plant that has been flowering for a few weeks now...2.5? Its an auto-flower.

The buds are getting more and more pronounced, but I have yet to see the leafs start triching over...I see everyones frosty buds on here making me drool...and its making me worry about my girls!

None of the white hairs are turning or anything. I know I have about a month left for her...but when should I start to see them looking tasty?

Thanks guys :]

I dont know too much about autoflowers, but I do know some plants don't sparkle till late in the flowering process. What kinda lighting are you under?

Depending on the strain, they may not get to frosty!

Some of the older autoflowers, are more ruderalis then anything.

But then again, at 2 and a half weeks in, your not gonna see too much for Trich's

Oh really? I thought 2.5 weeks was a reasonable time for that. That makes me feel better then :]

Its AKxDiesel btw. :stoned:

If you want extra frosty nugs you should get some Snow Storm Ultra.:yesnod:

A little goes a long ways and the stuff works.

Maybe I'll check that out. I figured it was something I'd have to auction off a kidney for, but at $10...maybe I'll give it a shot. Prolly won't be able to get it for a few weeks though...by then it might be too late...

Any specific info or grow journals with pictures using this stuff? Now you've got me interested.

I believe Coda, and myself both use it as well as a few others.

Here's a link to some pictures of my last harvest.

:homerdrool:

Did you do it as foliar, or just normal watering?

I plan on ordering some if I get some extra cash for my birthday...I dunno if it'll be here in time for me to use it on these girls though

I use the snowstorm ultra too (or actually, I got the earlier version called purplemaxx, but same effect). I foliar fed on my last harvest and I'm watering with it on this one and I think the effects are pretty similar so far. I'm at 2.5 weeks also and I'm already seeing significant trich formation.

I feed in my watering man.  I mix it at 3 mls per gallon.

Interesting :]

I think I'd like to try foliar feeding...but thats because I just enjoy handling my plants  I like the interaction. But, I guess thats just one more thing for me to fuck up.

Thanks a ton for the help guys :] I love this site.

Yeah I've been increasing one ml per grow to compare and see where it works best for me.

So is it basically more is more so far? or do you get similar results with 1ml as 2ml?

Man, you guys mix up some weak solutions.  I feed at 5 mls and I believe 206 is running his at 7 mls per gallon.  Isn't 3 mls the reccommended minimum dose?

oh damn! Well fuck then, I guess I'm gonna step it up! The dude at the hydro store told me to be really careful with it so I have been. I've just been thinking about how touchy the gravity is and I don't want to kill them

oh wait, fuck lol, I keep forgetting you use purple maxx and not snow storm.  So don't quote me on that!  I've never used purplemaxx in the original or "new" formulas.  So your bottle may actually require a smaller dosage due to the purple maxx being mixed with the snow storm.

Definitely try a larger dose on a tester plant first
