So a year and a half ago I was in a really stupid situation and I got caught with 4 oz's of bud, and a few hundred dollars cash (my fucking paycheck) and the cops took all my shit, then released me and I never got served charges...
Anyways, I just got a letter in the mail today that said I should come pick up my money!?!?
I'm kinda sketched out, like are trying to trick me into coming in so they can arrest me or is this legit and I should just go claim my stolen (by cops) money?
Any advice would be appreciated. 
BTW I did a public records search and I don't seem to have a warrant for my arrest so if that helps

Things got fucked up somewhere, or somehow they decided not to pursue you in the case. Nice that you got your cash back, too bad they won't hand you the bud as well

I know, especially since I grew it and it was my personal, I was going to give some to a friend but that never happened.
I'm sure they didn't feel it was worth pursuing and/or they didn't follow protocol and didn't feel the case would hold up in court. Either way I still have a clean record and am getting some cash back. I needed to get some fox farms soil and nutes so that should do it...

If you're super concerned then maybe call your lawyer and ask them but I doubt it's a trick/trap.
