So how's the Pub V2.0 going?

I've been in hospital for the last four days after getting a huge abscess in my jaw from an infected wisdom tooth. I had the abscess drained and two teeth pulled.

I got plenty of good drugs including fentanyl after waking up from surgery, IV morphine every four hours and oxycodone in between!

Got sent home with a nice little stash so I'll be pretty comfortable for the next few days.

Those are some mighty hefty pain meds. Do you have tolerance? Usually they only give fentanyl to cancer patients who have gone through everything else.

Nah they gave me fentanyl during and after my surgery a few weeks ago while in the hospital and oxy's for the pain after.

Glad to see your doing well after your surgery hanky.

I'm not sure if I got it during surgery but straight after I woke up they put a syringe of it in to my IV line and every few minutes they'd ask if the pain was bad and give me a little bit more if I answered yes. 

After five or so times it was all gone and they said they couldn't give me any more than that.  I was very comfortable for the next few hours. :smile:

Good shit man. :thumbup: Pretty much same here.  I came out of surgery and was pretty much wrecked and they were asking me how much pain from 1-10 and were giving me syringes into my IV.  I asked the anesthesiologist what was in the syringe they gave me before surgery and she told me fentanyl plus something else I don't remember.

I was very surprised to get it, I didn't think they gave it to non opiate tolerant patients. They gave me 100ug in total.
