i love watching these kinds of shows on tv. its interesting to see what kind of slant the network puts on it. nat geo had a really good one i thought, with lisa ling. THC has a gif from that documentary as his avatar.

So far this show has been prett one sided. I do like the guy who has cancer though. Proof that it can help people. But since he doesnt look "upkept" people would probably call him a hippy and not listen to what he is saying.

Yeah they seem to be hatin on the greed behind cannabis, not taking it a step forward and realizing it's the law that enables such greed. hopefully they will mention that in the next half.

Well, that show was completely one-sided. Someone with a lot of money (Willie Nelson) should produce a show on MJ and show what its really like.

Ok, first the majority of people in these towns grow. The high prices, is cause of the crazy laws and the way the law comes down on it. Make it legal and the price goes down. The violence they talk about comes from the high prices which come from, well I said where they come from already.
I notice they never went to any of the business owners and asked them if they want the bud growers gone. When (and this is true) 67% of the people in these towns are growers every business needs them.
Now they talk about all the indoor growers and make it seem all new and crap. These towns have been grow towns since the 60s. They were grow towns when these people they are talking to moved into the towns. For some reason they don't mention the grow from back in the day. Before 87 there were no choppers they don't talk about how most the growers were pulling in over 50 pounds a grow and weren't making shit cause they didn't come down on it so hard.
I can remember bitching about the prices cause killer green at the time cost 100 a oz. You never heard about guns, violence and all the crap they spew now. They are the ones who made the high prices what did they think was gonna happen?
The entire economy of these towns is grower dependent. We're not going anywhere anytime soon.
