So the paper said you can take 8 oz medical with a rec out of oakland int. airport and go anywhere you would like. They recognize the need for medicine and taking it with you and will not inform ANYONE on the other end. So if you can get through the random selection part at your destination, an oz or 8 on the east coast is worth about 3x what it is here in california.

Damn. I could turn a profit paying you to fly here. Half a pound in Oakland is approx $1800, I could easily sell it by the zone for $2800 here. If you choose to make a career out of it you would get to travel a lot.
