simply put, do people over estimated this dug or under estimated this drug?
personally i think that most users of cannabis tend to under estimated it at first and if they keep on smoking then eventually they grow to respect its powers.
yes its a very safe drug but it has a great deal of power to change you and influence your perception of self and the moment (and well... many other things also)
what do you think?

I mean its over hyped. Some people thing that its like a DRUG that will FUCK YOU UP and you wont be able to function. But its not. Ive never had any hallucinations or anything from it. Just felt high as fuckkkk

It is way underrated, I think THC can help even in large doses ingesting it, especially with chronic pain, large doses would be beneficial.

Have you experienced the strobe effect or rolling blackouts?
strobe effect = when something (or the person) is moving to see it jump as if there are missing frames in your perception of reality
rolling blackouts = where you find yourself somewhere/doing something and you last memory is 10-15 minutes before, with no idea what happened

I've never encountered either of those effects. And I've consumed some pretty extreme amounts of weed at a time before.  Mary Jane has always been kind to me.

i kinda had it I remember we smoked a couple joints back when I was first starting and after a bunch of time on the trampoline I went to run across the grass and i didnt remember running just the brief seconds before i arrived so like that part didnt happen at all, these days all weed does is relax me :O

yea i agree. its potential medically is underrated, like i dont know how they dont see it as a safer alternative to drugs like benzos. Less addictive, takes away anxiety (in most cases), helps you sleep, makes you wanna eat, only slightly psychologically addicting in respect to benzos, and better for your long term health.
Its overestimated by non stoners who see it as a highly abused substance that many beleive intoxicates you equivalent to alcohol, and makes you lazy and makes you lose all desire for things you use to like (toatally not true).
And as far as being a gateway drug. IMO i only think weed is a gateway drug because it introduces you to the black market, and stree drug dealers, by the way most people have to acquire it. And by being introduced to the black market you are more likely to get offered other drugs, by your pot dealer, like coke, pills, ectasy, and so on. Soo if you didnt have to go to the black market for it, and could just score it at the store, you wouldnt get offered the other drugs and it wouldnt act as a gateway drugs.
That is what i have found in my personal experiences anyway.
