I need to make up a story about how I got my Rolexes, so people don't think they're fake or stolen

I found it on the side of the road is the best I can think of.

Requirements
-------------
1) Cannot detail any illegal doing by me (such as mugging someone or grave robbing).
2) Cannot be that the watch is fake.

My family is, well, not poor as fuck, but not rich enough for a Citizen watch - no way we could afford a Rolex.

I'm going to be giving a few different watches to different family members when I get back from China and I need to give them a story they can use when people ask where they got it. They'll think my family is made up of dumb fucks if we say we bought them, and they probably won't believe us, so I dunno.

What do you think? Any stories in mind?

You can google rollex fake and real and find some sites that tell you how to distinguish the genuine watches from the fakes.

Yeah, I did.

After a close inspection by others and myself, and without taking it apart, it meets the external criteria for a real with two small exceptions being that the stamp on the inside of the clasp is not correct. The small words Registered Swiss Made are incorrectly punched. This does not appear on the 'Fake or Genuine' websites, but it does seem odd to me and probably unlike the real. The other exception is that when you turn the dial around the face, a total turn makes 148 clicking noises instead of 120. Or I counted wrong, either way.

Other than that, the srap screws, the caseback, the hologram, the stamps on the back and the strap, the crown, the laser engraving, the date magnification, sweeping hands at 6 ticks per second, is all correct.
