Addtional Moderators needed in TSL

I would like to nominate mel_lonta_tauda and highasfuck as possible moderators for the smoking lounge. Not because ltd is doing a bad job, but to have another active moderator and to aid ltd is his decision making. Right now it seems like ltd is the only moderator of that forum

An extra mod in TSL wouldn't be a bad thing, but I don't think HAF is good for the position (no offense HAF :lol:)

I do think mel_lonta_tauda would be good candidate, however

the other mods are pretty much non-existent. I mean I know they come here and read through threads and stuff but they arent really engaged in the community (but maybe that is a good thing)

I think you are reluctant to punish people because you think the community members will turn against you or something.

I dont think so, I have seen tons of times where people step over the line knowing you wont ban them.

I agree you are lenient but I think it is also important to uphold a certain balance. It would be a damn shame if the smoking lounge turned into an OTD type forum, and it's really starting to head that way

TSL is not the Pub, and it's not OTD

it's in between

if someone crosses the line, use the notify moderator feature

I almost always issue a warning, if not a temp ban

sometimes I just miss stuff tho, it's hard for me to read every single post in every thread, every day

I'm new here but i have gotten a very good idea about the frequent posters here and would conclude thet mel_lonta_tauda would be the best choice, he seems to have the most common sense and is he also neutralizes flamming that goes on. He acts the most professional around here for the amount that he posts and therefore would be the best candidate.
