I dont know why but I feel especially proud of my country for even allowing this to happen. He was clearly the better of the options regardless of race. And im glad enough people came together and realized that

And we have got 2 marijuana bills passed out of 2. Now if only a couple more states would get their shit together

True and I would be extremely embarrassed for my country if something happens to him.

I like the message this sends to young people and people in other countries. When they see that our people came together and elected a black President I think it will really aid the spread of democracy in the long run

Maybe im being overly optimistic

And yes. Marijuana bills being passed makes me more proud to be an american than Obama being elected.

I am always hopeful for my country. Im not one of those Zietgeist freaks

I cant say I am always proud of the decisions made by elected officials but I love my country through and through
