Clone tops wilting but other then that seem healthy (troubleshooting)
    #544698 - 04/09/11 09:21 AM (13 years, 1 month ago)

i have 3 (unknown sativa strain from friend) and he is a master cloner. i got them ten days ago and they seemed fine, they were put in miracle grow soil with more then enough soil and space for root growth. They range from 8inches to 14 inches tall and go from one looking pretty healthy, to poor looking. i'm using a hps 150w light, the plants are in a 2x2 space which the light would cover. i haven't used any fertilizer and water them with about a dixie cup of water every 4 days. they aren't overwatered and i don't believe underwatered. i haven't fertilized them at all yet (tho the soil has fertilizer i grew seeds in it and didn't have this problem so i don't think its the fertilizer in the soil). When the light is on the soil temp goes to about 80 degrees farenheit. i only water when the soil looks and feels dry and feel a little under with my finger. i'm new to growing but definetly not a novice. The tops of the plans are approx 10 inches away from the hps depending on height of plant. The taller the clone the healthier it seems but all the tops like the top 1/4 of the plant the leaves are wilting on all of them. They are in an open space, i've put a fan on them, then i put a fan in the opposite direction taking the heat away from them. They wilt like there not getting enough water but only the tops are. Could this be a light issue? i've tried trouble shooting myself and had no luck. so any advice would be wonderful thankyou!

How far away from the tops of the plants is the light?
