I am planing on starting indoors since is still a bit chilly here. I was wondering the best way to introduce them out doors. should i just transplant the seedlings to there 5 gallon buckets after just a day or two after germination.Should i wait for the first set of fan leaves? Should i ween the plants off my (250 watt mate halide) slowly introducing the plants to real sunlight in increasing hours over a few days? I know the actual transplant should be done at night or in the evening i know some of my plants wont be done until well after the first frost (they will be done about the same time it snows) i was wondering if once the temp outside is about 40 degrees F if i can bring my plants back inside to finish out there life under the 250 watt metal halide 4 days and not a singe response THE GROWERY IS GREAT
You can transplant soon as it germs, harden off over a week placing it outdoors for increasing amounts of time each day. You can finish under that light but a 400w or more HPS would be better, that is if it will fit by that time, mmmkay
