I used to be an OG (overgrow) member a couple years ago and in that duration of my life I was going about it the hydroponic way.
Which was okay but, I feel buds grown organically in soil are healthier, maybe even tastier?
Either way i'd like feed back on what you think of the differences and, I still would very much appreciate a couple soil recipes please, and thanks in advance.
35% spaghnum moss 35% perlite 15% worm castings 10% bat guano 5% mix of trace mineral elements, granulated charcoal, volcanic ash, washed sand
big buddha soil mix
35% coco 35% soil 20% perlite 10% worm castings a handful of bat guano
in the bottom you add 2" of clay pebbles for better drainage.
a even better mix would be the big buddha mix with 5% of the soil replaced with the 5% of trace mineral element, washed sand, volcanic ash, and grunulated charcoal mix
this stuff appearently plays a roll in taste and has some goodies in it that are essential to trichome production and like why would dj short's care about this stuff if it wasn't good considering it's in such small amounts... I hear this shit really is more effective using something like super thrive which is a bunch of vitamins and hormones, I'm not really sure but I'm convinced.
