it's my fav along with demon days, i love them both equally, they are both 
I can't really say one is better than the other, because lol they are not ya know>

Demon Days is a masterpiece, but I do not feel the same way about the new album...yet. It's a good listen though.

ONe of my favs from before is the Don't Get Lost in Heaven/Demon Days song. The last two on the album.

Demon Days was way better. This albums not bad but Gorillaz has adopted a new style I'm not a huge fan of.

it was supposed to sound electronic. it's a concept album. it's about how technology is taking over nature that's why they made it all synthy sounding.

Well they've always had an electronic sound imo. That's a cool theme for the album though. I really dig that. I don't mind listening to it, but the sound just didn't grab me...
Maybe I just need to listen to it more. When I first heard Hendrix I didn't really like him too much but now he's like fucking orgasmic.... hrmmm....
I've got a long train ride ahead of me tonight so I think I'll give it another go.

Am i only one that feels that the gorillaz self titled was the best one they released. Demon Days was meh, IMO. BUT Plastic Beach is a insanely, epically awesome on so many levels. I can listen repeatably from front to back.

I've listened to the album a few more times now. Rhinestone eyes and superfast jellyfish I like, but the rest of the album is meh. Oh well...

All the tracks were either hit or miss with me. I was pretty disappointed all in all TBH.

gorillaz are siiiick to flow to
empire ants is awe when the beat picks up, but thats like 2 mins into the song

You have to listen to the album a few times to enjoy it I think.
At first I didn't like it at all, I was pretty disappointed, but now that I am listening to it more, I am really digging it.
I like On Melancholy Hill, and Glitter Freeze. Surprised no one has said those yet.
