Bassui wrote the following letter to one of his disciples who was about to die:
"The essence of your mind is not born, so it will never die. It is not an existence, which is perishable. It is not an emptiness, which is a mere void. It has neither color nor form. It enjoys no pleasures and suffers no pains.
"I know you are very ill. Like a good Zen student, you are facing that sickness squarely. You may not know exactly who is suffering, but question yourself: What is the essence of this mind? Think only of this. You will need no more. Covet nothing. Your end which is endless is as a snowflake dissolving in the pure air."

The Epiphone has opposing screw hole tuners
Really crappy :judyfacepalm:
The Tradition has regular fender tuners
I am probably going to put a lace sensor loaded pickguard with schaller locking tuners
Might even change out the bridge to a Wilkerson

My spark 40 amp is sitting at the post office
Fuckers were suckpossed to deliver it yesterday

I am pretty sure tradition took over the old Gibson factory in Kalamazoo.

Personally I would prefer 1 300$ guitar over 3 100$ guitars...

But that's just me.

It is not that hard and would be better use of the hardware. Ubuntu or mint are easy to use and will be more stable and secure than an outdated window version

To be fair there are a lotta commies in the Linux userbase too ahaha. I really wish i could say the linux community was 100% badasses
But paw its like you get what you pay for. You could go to one of the more business /corporate focused distributions that actually charge like SUSE or Redhat, maybe get some nerds to do shit for you. Or you could go opensource, free, like Ubuntu or Mint where things are developed by the nerds ahead of time, but then eventually you will have to type something into a command prompt, you could probably get the instructions from whatever from some nerds post already somewhere most times though.
And then theres the fuck everybody route where you go full Arch linux, or build your own distro, but then youre the nerd

Ehhhh you should still wipe it and get Linux on there bc odds are you're talking about a craptop with e-hiv. there are a lot of distros available designed to run on older hardware without any bloat or unnecessary crap, trialware etc. Debian is cool but you're really probably better off trying XFCE on Ubuntu or Mint, whichever is currently lighter i forgot
at least you didn't say facebook or reddit

I almost forgot too most distros have a live run feature so you can try them before /without actually installing anything. Ubuntu has had one that can even install itself through a Windows program while you are currently logged in running windows.

https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/create-a-usb-stick-on-windows#1-overview

Paw it's really easy!

edit had wrong link at first whoops, gotta find the right one ok that's the right link

looks like running it to try it from inside windows might not be option anymore but the usb option is about the same thing if not way safer because it's a usb stick not your internal hard drive being tested with.

In fact now it looks like in that tutorial it just straight up tells you to use a third party usb boot disk creator, and doing that you could actually follow those exact same instructions and get the same results with different Linux ISOs if you don't want Ubuntu. But Ubuntu is cool it has a ton of good tutorials and helpful beginner stuff built in
