What’s the deal with dark during drying? Scientific explaination please!

You’re supposed to dry in the dark, see it all over the place.

What is the region/logic behind this?

Is it specifically sunlight (with UVs) that degraded THC during drying?

Do house lights (which from my understanding don’t emit UV) have any negative impact during drying?

Would appreciate some scientific literature to read or well supported articles with some chemistry/physics explanation
