Hello. I am new to growing outside, however I have had great results. All my plants at at least 6 ft by 6 plus foot wide my biggest is 9 feet tall.
they are planted in the ground, the soil is now bad and compact i poke holes into the ground each tie i water them. They are little over mid flower. it is 9-25-19 and next week going on to the first week into October there is a few freezing nights. one of the nights it drops to 28 degrees. I am in high desert 3800 ft elevation. some one told me to put sheets around roots to protect them from freeze.
is there any suggestions on what i can do to protect these flowers until they are done?
youll want to cover it to protect it from frost. Also youll need to add some mulch or straw around the bottom. Go on youtube and look at protecting plants from frost.
