So hey there, I've decided to grow a White Widow seed from Nirvana Seeds and im 1 week and 5 days in. Here are the Basic specs that are useful to know
1. Are you growing from seed or clones? Seed
2. How old are your plants? 12 Days (1 Week 5 Days)
3. How tall are your plants? about 0.7cm
4. What size containers are they planted in? Little germination boxes about 5x5x6cm
5.What is your soil mix? Coco Coir
6. How often do you water and what type of water do you use and how much you give per watering? Water inconsistent (when dry) distilled water with nutrients, i stop when about 20% of it have drained through
7. What is the pH of your water? 6,7-6,9
8. What kind of fertilizer do you use and what is its NPK ratio? Hesi Tnt (3-2-3) for Coco and Soil and Cal-mag (4-0-0) by Advanced Nutrients
9. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything? No
10. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") 2x 45W Led Grow Lights
11. How close are your lights to the plants? about 10cm away (did have them closer at start at about 4-6cm)
12. What size is your grow space in square feet? 120cm x 60cm x 180cm (4f x 2f x 6f
13. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? 22-25 C°(71-75F)
14. What is the pH of the soil? 6.9
15. What is the pH of your run off? Dont Know
16. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? No
So as every first grower im probably overdoing something tbh. I just want to be overly secure and have some people tell me their opinion so far
Quote: For coco coir the target values for EC are between 1.1 and 1.3, for the pH, between 5.5 and 6.2. Very high EC values increase the risk of burning symptoms. To limit the risk of burning symptoms, the coco can be rinsed with acidified water (pH 5.8: acidify with CANNA pH - growth)
I would recommend you lower the ph of your water and fertilizer to 6.0.
