It's harvest time and 2 of my outdoor plants have these weird looking, apparently dead, things attached to the stems. We used Safer on them consistently and believe that's the reason these bugs are dead and not actively infesting my entire crop. But, what are they? They appear to be dried up. When removed from the stem, they have a flat underside and looks like they were eggs sacks of some sort. Please help me identify what type of pest they are. Thanks!
