I have some good OG seeds that I have found in a bag of shake. What are the odds of planting them, and at least one being a female. I don't want to just throw them away if there might be a chance of having a female seed. Thoughts or advice on what I should do.
The seeds could be female, male or hermaphrodites. If the grower pollenated the seeds on purpose they could be feminized or male and female. If the plants were self pollenated by stress odds are some of the seeds will be hermaphrodites.
If its legal where you are or will soon be I would plant them. If you have five or more seeds odds are you will end up with at least one female.
Awesome, thank you for the advice. I'll probably start germinating them and try to hope for at least one female when I plant them. I've got me a nice set up but haven't been able to do it yet.
Yo yo chances are they are regular seeds giving you about a 50/50 shot at a female
If your in North America I think it’s a little late to be planting seeds generally you generally start in March or april for best results where I’m at ( west coast USA)
Your technique is the biggest impact on if they’ll make it try to manage temps 65 to 80 ish range If you can, somewhere inbetween being the best for day slightly cooler for night is cool.
Always keep medium moist especially if it’s hot or they’ll die but do not constantly water them either it’s all about a balance because they need oxygen gl
