 Fucked my foot yesterday

I was at the top of the ladder about to step onto the roof when the ladder slid out from under me, trapped my leg, and slammed my foot into the concrete.
It hurt like a muphucka!
My boss picked me up and drove me to the clinic.
Took my drug test and got some xrays taken.
Apparently it's fractured and I tore 4 ligaments. They gave me an airboot, some crutches, and slapped me in the face with a shitty IB Profen 800s script.
Fuck you!
At the clinic...
At home...
It's much worse this morning with the swelling and the bruising and the pain. I'm pretty much consuming kratom every 3-4 hours now.
It fucking sucks and taking a shower is a nightmare.

Consider yourself lucky to an extent. Ankle breaks like that can get real ugly. One of my exes broke her's walking down a step in heels. Everything was shattered so bad that her ankle pretty much looked like a sack of pebbles. She wound up needing multiple metal rods, screws and two surgeries.

I am fairly lucky. It's all the milk and magnesium I've been taking.
It does feel shattered when I try and put weight on it though.

Living in Costa Rica for the last year.
Living life in paradise. paying $380 in rent (for a 3bed, 2 bath with land). Driving a shitty car in a beautiful country. Sold my harley and dodge, and wifes car and bought plane tickets and moved here. Been a wild 12 months (even lived in nicaragua for a month).
Im in living in Playa Del Coco, Guanacast, Costa Rica ATM.
