No problems under the sun

Hi,
All these problems I have been reading about and talking to friends about in regard to cultivating cannabis, these problems seem to only afflict indoor gardeners. For some reason, when growing plants in the right season under natural sunlight (outdoors in a pot or in the ground) these problems are virtually non-existent. And considering all the time, effort, energy, and money that goes into creating an artificial light setup, I really wonder why more people don't simply put their plants on the deck outside or somewhere in their backyards?
well thanks for listening

What problems are you talking about? One of the biggest reasons to gtow indoors is the control. Such as temps, light cycle, bugs, weather, etc...

Bugs, theft, weather, porch lights, etc. Its impossible to control the environment outdoor. On top of that they are also sponges in the wind, catching any loose pollen and spores floating through the air.
Indoor bud is much higher quality because you have complete control on the environment.

the question was in regard to legal cultivation (by a patient, or caregiver, etc.).
