That is simply not true. My wild cyanescens will make your cultivated cubes seem like childs play.

Gomen Gomen lol.  Let me correct myself.  I find cubes to be much more potent when cultivated than when found in the wild.

Not taking that one back.  It is true that I find cultivated to be more potent.  Cubes can only get to a certain percentage of actives (as with any actives), and is more consistent in a good isolated genome in a controlled environment.  There might be a small chance you find something stronger depending where you are on the map (not in most of the U.S.).

Oh god, I was thinking about how jealous I am of you guy's bud prices.  Then I forget how much EVERYTHING costs here.  A gallon of milk just cost me $7 and a dozen eggs was $5.  How is the gas prices on the mainland?  We are sitting at 3.05, which has been a huge relief on us.

I complain about the prices and the police here, but there isn't really anywhere else in the states I would rather live.  Plus, I haven't been shot at or robbed at gunpoint since I moved here lol.  Oh, and Asian women, lots and lots of Asian women hahaha.

Ya, cubes are the worst for sure.  It's just the common when you think "shrooms."  I don't think it gets cold enough here for azures, but we do have plenty of pan cyans.  I should take a print the next time I find some.  Just paranoid to have anything like that around now that I have my legal grow going and my future in mind.  I don't think I'll ever be doing it again as much as I enjoy it.

You live in a Mushroom Mecca.

Do some research on the species listed in your state here.

Ooo this page is pretty neat.  If you do go hunting, you should take pictures of the mushroom where you find it at and have it identified before eating them. Getting a spore print is a good idea too.  Sometimes they can look similar and can mess your day up if you get the wrong one.  Safety first!

It's probably due to lack of market on it.  I hardly ever hear people asking for them.  Now if you sell ice or e here, you are like the fairy godmother.  I think the rave scene here is way too popular considering how small an area we live.  Mostly teenagers too.  They have had a big push to deal with the ice problem here though, so they treat it like florida treats people with cannabis.

I have done a little research and I also tried to match pictures with names off that link. (I found that link the other day on shroomery) lol. I can send you my "shroomdex" I made if you want to make sure everything looks good I just got the pics off of google. I just don't know what one I should look for in mason county.

Personally, with what little information I have, I would look for Psilocybe azurescens, Psilocybe cyanescens, and Psilocybe stuntzii in mulchy areas of the parks around your area- it looks like there's a ton judging by google maps.

These are fairly common in your area it looks like, and will be species that are sure to be easily ID'd by people helping you.

edit: I would keep an eye out for allenii as well, even though it's listen as south WA. Really you should get familiar with everything in your area (including toxic look-a-likes of common species you might be looking for) but these are the specific few I personally would have in mind while shuffling around your neck of the woods.

just hike out or even walk around into your local areas and keep an open eye. maybe take a camera to document your surrounding areas (e.g., trees, mulch, soil, and moisture/sunlight spots) and compare to where wild actives prefer to thrive.

welcome aboard to this rolling canna-circus that is the growery :gethigh:
