WOW Cosmic you might be the first person Ive met who knows what an MRE is! That is an excellent thing for your list! Means you can avoid the populated areas longer than we can!
For those of you who are curious, an MRE is a "meal ready to eat". They are popular among campers and used extensively by many militias. If I had any of these you know theyd be in my bug out bag.

They are handy, but exspensive.
I'm going to post up and lock down the acadamy next to my house.
The back is locked up like a prison so I would only have to work on the front doors. With 3 people and 15 minutes we could have that shit on lock down.
Fucking chain the doors in seconds then barracade the fuck out of the doors.
Unlimited supplies, guns and ammo.

I have a friend in the army he wound up with boxes of MREs after one of the big storms and I bummed some boxes off of him
there great, I keep a few in my car just in case
and have cracked a few open on long trips out of state
or if I forget my lunch at work

Meh, I'm not putting up much of a fight. I'll probably stay in my apartment smoking meth and waiting to turn into a zombie. I need a change anyway.
I'd definitely put on a full clown suit though. I'd be a funny zombie.

Probably full multicam, tactical boots, plate carrier, my assault pack
Same as in any without rule of law scenario
Provided they are not fast, I would likely be a lot more concerned about encounters with other survivors than the zombies.
They say that in such a WROL scenario you shouldn't dress in a manner that will 'stand-out', and although I think this holds true in an urban center, in a rural setting I would much rather look militaristic as people would be less likely to fuck with you.
