lighting and ventiliation go hand in hand.  dont wanna buy a light you realize is just going to be too much because you havent calculated how much venting you need.

i did that before, had to send my whole hps/mh setup back.

Im saying pick your lighting, dont buy it, figure out the amount of ventiliation you need/ have space for.  THEN buy the light and the fans.

That will cover some of the smell, but it wont be full proof.  It depends on how big your plants get and sometimes its strain dependent

I know 200wt will be enough, I will be growing only 1 plant, just for me, in a 3x3x7 which is about 70cf, I already have a 160 cfm fan, do I need to down size?

Remember that you are going to have to make the enclosure light proof.    The fan should be bog enough for that space.  But more is always better.

I would use PVC if your going go make it yourself.

No you don't down size.  You need a minimum of at least 2-3 times your cf exchanged every minute

I was thinking about using 3/4 inch plywood for the outside and a mylar film on the inside

Then all wood could work, but you need to make sure that you use a sealant on all surfaces first.  And painting it flat white will be better than mylar.

Good to know, are you talking about water sealed or air sealed?

Lol, I mean use a sealant.  Like a laquer  type.  To keep moisture from getting to the wood
