Well additives like that should be used throughout the flowering cycle, not just the end.

i would do it, just havent tried it for the whole cycle.

ill give it a try then! should i include it in my feedings or regular water?  Im going to be using Advanced Nutrients finally, Sensi Bloom A&B, Big Bud and Over drive.

I have a plant i put into flower last night.  Im going to try the molasses cycle on her then because she a tiny lil bitch plant that im just flowering out so a higher yield off her would be cool

I use sweet everyother watering.  You should do some research on how often to use molasses, or go by the recommendation on the back of the container.

Doesn't matter if you mix it with nutrients or not.

Molasses is awesome for all stages of growth because it feeds the soil microbes. Theres a lot of confusion about how to use it because botanicare makes one and markets it as a soil alternative to sweet.

Sweet is for final flowering, and although you can get similar results using molasses instead at the same times...ive seen better results using it start to finish.

In fact, the roots organics buddah grow nutrient has molasses as one of the ingredients and you can use it on seedlings.

I use strapped starting at 1tbsp/gal added to my existing nutrient program during veg, and slowly crank it up to 2 tbsp during flower. The bottle reccomends 1-2 tbsp.

Being organic, the dosage is pretty high. The smallest ill ever apply is one tablespoon per gal. But at 16$ for a gal...shiiiit...i dont mind adding a lil extra. Sometimes ill put way more than that on established plants in ground when i feel the ground needs a microbe boost but i wouldnt reccomend that to anyone without a few years experience.

Ive been gardening for about 14 years now and without a doubt molasses is one of my favorite additives. Its organic, its cheap, it has a vast variety of applications that many people dont realize just from reading the label, and it gets the job done.

I highly recommend anyone doing full organics to try a frothy compost tea made with molasses.

End rant

Totally agree with you, except that Sweet is designed to use through all of flowering.

My bad...never really use the stuff, thanks for the correction though...

You use sweet in soil a lot dont you? Itd be cool to see a side by side grow...

I do.  It boosts yield, I don't have the pics anymore, but I saw a difference.

I didn't read threw all this but have used sweet many times. Works well but no way in hell your gonna tell one flavor from another in the finished product that is just to get bottles sold.

Best additive I've found so far that works for carbos is from AN and it's called Carbo Load. I like the liquid version better and yes I did notice a increase in yield.
