I really need to invest in a half ass decent scale here pretty soon, dosing this kratom is a bit of a pain in the ass, I just keep eating small piles of it every 20 min hoping to feel something.
I wanna be able to get an accurate dose, so I can take this shit before class

I just want a scale so when I find out what dose works for me, I can measure it out quickly and just take it all right there. Right now I'm just pouring out random piles onto a piece of paper and eating it, no clue how much I've eaten so far.
Yeah I ordered 4oz for like $25 without shipping, and I'm pretty sure if I told you I'd be giving a source 
But its like one of the top ones on google, its easy as hell to find man

I started using Kratom this summer, and without a scale I have to say I wouldn't have any idea how to dose it ...
The semester just started and doing kratom before classes definitely help me, I really understand thangs in a different way then when I was on weed. From my experience, if you take a normal spoon, there's around 7 to 10 grams that can fit in it, I usually use Erowid for dosage, my last batch is Super quality, takes about half of what I used to take with premium quality to get the same effects.
Also, as fisherman told me to do, I tried dropping some in orange juice... ITS DOESN'T FUCKIN WORK... the goddamn powder just stay on top of the glass, so fucking hard to mix with it, I wasn't able at all actually ... Drinking that goddamn horrible tasting orange juice with a goddamn 5 millimeters of powder on top of that crap ... I don't recommend it ... at all ... I'll stick with the pills ...

Tell me about it man, I wish I never would have been introduced to Opiates the way I was.
A Shroomery member, and a good friend of mine to this day got me started on OC80's back when we could afford them and then it was all downhill for me. I know he still dabbles a bit but he doesnt have the addictive personalty like I do.
It's cost me a lot of things, over and over.. I get nice shit and end up having to pawn it all. or return it to the stores. It fucking sucks. Makes me really hate myself at times that I do not have the will power to say "no" and take back control over my life.
Anyways, I have had some good luck with Kratom in the past and willing to give it a try and hopefully with a combination of Kratom and 12-step meetings, I can regain control over my life before it's too late.
I am doing soo well in school right now, but I know that if my usage continues, I am fucked.
Gaskelort- I would recommend making Kratom tea over anything. I mean if you have access to 00 capsules and dont mind spending the time to capsule your powder, then that's probably the easiest way to go, but seems like a time consuming process for something that can be made into a delicious tea relatively quickly. Just add some honey to the tea and it's good to go.
Either of you guys tried Kava Kava? I have before and it doesnt do much for me, but I might give that another whirl

Well I never tried the tea, I definetly have to try it tho! Making pills takes me usually around 30-45 minutes for like 12 grams, I usually just make them while watching tv or listening music, it doesn't really bother me, it kinda relax me in a way.
I never tried Kava Kava, read a bit about it on erowid, but it seems like a good plant to try.
Also, fuck posting with my iPod touch, it keep fuckin correcting my words in french, fuckin annoying machine.
Picklez, I wish you the best of lucks with getting rid of opiates, I really hope for you that this time will be the one!!!!

I think I am going to go with the cheaper stuff because of my budget right now. I cant really afford any but it's a better alternative to dope and if it can get me clean then it's doing it's job

I am going to get 10g of the Maeng Da for 8 bucks and give it a try and compare it to the cheaper stuff
Obviously there is a difference in price for a reason

I am not soo much looking for something to get me high as something to just maintain. I know Kratom usually has more of a stimulant affect than it does an opiate affect for me and that will be a good thing. That is probably what I like most about opiates is the fact that I get a lot of energy on them and can be much more productive on opiates than I am sober.

I plan on using 6-7g a day, or maybe 10g a day (5g in the morning, 5g in the evening). If I can do that for a week, week and half and get through what I got to get through then I will be happy.

UEI is Ultra Enhanced Indonesian, I think its suppose to be an extract with the powder leaf. I've heard extracts on their own suck, but this stuff is suppose to be pretty potent.

I have been diagnosed bi-polar when I was younger and still do have some bi-polar tendencies but with all my medical past, I have no trouble walking out with a script for kpins.
Ive never had an issue abusing benzos either. weird considering my personalty

Benzos got me in trouble I walked out of wal mart with a itouch...mngr came running said I never paid I argued like a mother fucker that I paid for the thing....lol I did not win that benzos make me forget everything.

From the website I buy the Kratom, I get 4 oz of Super Indonesian for like 55$, the website is located in quebec and they give discount for quebecers.

10g a dose is pretty standard, so if you have a tolerance and you dose 14g, twice a day. There's your oz right there. I agree that is still a lot because that was my initial reaction, but when I actually thought about it it's not as much as it sounds. I have 2 1/2 oz coming and I will be happy if that lasts me 2-3 weeks.

I dont recall Kratom ever having that effect on me. I know Opiates do, but I think I actually shit a lot when I was taking Kratom. I remember my shit looking weird from all the undigested powder in it

Yeah well the crap is weird that also, but in larger dose, I mean cuz I got Super Indo Micron powder, according to Erowid, it takes less and it is true, I never did opiates so I don't really have a tolerance, maybe to weed a bit, but ya know... With premium Malaysian I was taking like 11 grams, with the super indo, I take bout 6.5 for similar effects, the powder is really more light greenish than the premium Malaysian, which was more like dark green-brown. But I do it like 2-3 times a week, maybe 4 sometimes, but then once I stop taking it, I get constipated for like 1-2 days.

well kratom tolerance and opiate tolerance arent the same. Kratom is actually classified as a stimulant

I think it is because kratom does not burn or work that well in most resin forms (poor market for it)
id love good kratom in resin for, just dunno how well it works I just heard most resin products werent that effective.
I did do some in amsterdam and smoked some bongs, that got me quite euphoric, I put the resin in tea back than.
The effects were not as overwhelming but a cleaner more euphoric but shorter lasting high...
I want some high grade kratom resin some day, just no clue where to get the good stuff

Been lovin Kava/Kratom lately!
I'll usually cold steep 24-28 grams kava for a serving...
and 7-14 grams of Bali Kratom hot steeped per dose.
makes me feel good. 
Definitely gonna order a bunch of sample packs of different Kratom strains to try soon.
A lot of online recipes call for measuring it using spoons instead of weight, so you don't exactly need a scale to use it...
