MG soil is a tad bit toxic anyways. however growers use it often with no problem.
you cant nuke plants with ferts, if you only got one to kill. try growing many and killing off only a few with nuke ferts... you will get an understanding of what they can and can not tolerate.
super soak the soil , its not going to recover from wilts, yellowing. droops can recover. other leaf damage is a little harder to fix..
if you have no sea chalk, do you have no lime either?. maybe find some natural limestone and pulverize it, add water and boom.. lime water.
