So I got a letter today from my union telling me its time for my 'random' drug test, Ive got 10 days to show up at the testing site. Pain in the ass. Whats everyone using to get by?

yea, that never worked for me and i dont have much body fat. it didnt matter what i did, i could never get myself to piss clean even after drinking more than a gallon of water. i spent over 200 dollars on THC tests to figure out how i could get myself to trick one.
i learned that i cant.
dont rely on the drinks to get you to pass. get the synthetic urine and follow the directions! its already made, it comes with a heat pack. put it the microwave, then put the heatpack on it, strap it to your leg, and go take the test.

And I get pissed when the drug test van shows up on the job site with a list of 100 or so names. Then they make every one stand in line for their turn to have their 4th amendment violated. Man that shit pisses me off. Ive got 2 drug tests from 2 different entities to dodge, at least they dont watch. Has anyone ever tried to sue for violation of rights regarding drug tests?

At one point in time i was on probation like 2 hours away from where i lived. and the lady let me take drug tests at lab corp and fax her the results. whenever i got around to it.
so i got to take my sweet ass time, hitting up different lab corps till i got the results i was looking for. cuz i paid for it on my own dime and didnt tell them what it was for. i just walked in, took a drug test and then paid for it and the results.
was so awesome.
unfortunately that is not my life today.

The "fake dick" actually comes with synthetic urine. Its underwear that has a plastic penis shaped tube atached to the strap, basically you can just pull out the tube instead of ur dick. You refill the urine pouch with more synthetic urine. I had to take drugtests to be on the basket ball team , and the coach was basically looking right at it and didnt say a thing. Prolly thought I had I wierd dick lmao.. Anyway, the shitty part is that the piss pouch is small, so not much comes out. You got to play it off like u didnt need to go atm. BUT that was years ago and I heard a newer version came out.

A lot of people that take them would agree with you. Not everyone has a choice though. For me if I didn't I would have jail time and a big fine and a criminal record. Instead I chose to go through diversion and take random UA's.
For some they want a decent jobs. And a lot of good jobs, especially union jobs, have random drug testing.
I don't agree with it. But that's the reality of the world we live in.

I don't agree with drug testing generally but if it's for a job that is inherently risky and dangerous for the worker and others then I'm all for it. You don't want a pilot or air traffic controller doing that stuff. However, if it's for someone working in an office or something then who cares as long as it's not affecting job performance.
Two workers at a previous job got caught out by a higher up talking about the pills one sold to the other. He dragged them aside and said he was young once too and that he doesn't care what they do on the weekends but if they start skipping work or having poor performance then he's going to know why. The male worker was happy. The chick thought her privacy was invaded and tried causing shit. However, she was psycho and rude and even pulled a knife on another worker who was hooking up with her. Bitches be crazy!

How do you know they don't have some way to test for something that's in weed but not marinol? I know they have drug tests that can separate Xanax from Valium. Plus, if the volume exceeds what it should from the marinol script they'll lock your shit up for that too.

for marijuana tests, there isn't a test for anything but THC and it's metabolite, so that makes it impossible for them to determine if it was marinol or marijuana. as for the level in my system, it won't matter. they'll get to the EMIT test and see that im failing for drugs that i am prescribed, legally. if they DID want to spend the money and go gc/ms, the THC level only levels off. they cant prove anything. its medication for me.
ive had cameras down my throat and up my ass throughout the years, i'm sick every morning, i have trouble eating and with nausea, not to mention benzo withdrawal. i've been constantly misdiagnosed, and fed insane drugs by "doctors" which have actually fucked my life up pretty good. IE, being a benzodiazapine addict because doctors said i had anxiety. i really dont give a shit about marijuana laws anymore. if they want to lock me up again for having THC in my system WHILE having a prescription for it, then fuck them. ITS ON WHEN I GET OUT!!!
i'm not going down without a fight. what the fuck is wrong with trying to live a comfortable life NOT on benzos or amphetamines???

Drug tests are why some of my friends stick to psychedelics and obscure drugs because they tend to be uncommon and they are eliminated rather quickly from the body and a company trying to test for every single drug will face prohibitively expensive costs.
It's unfortunate for cannabis smokers that THC is always tested for and takes so long to be completely eliminated from the body, especially when you can get prescriptions for or legal access to worse drugs which will not affect your employment etc and might not help with your medical condition.

i wouldnt care if the pilot of my plane was high...or the construction worker operating the crane I drive under everyday on the freeway. If the person isnt inherently stupid, theres no problem. Its a common sense, or stupidity test that should be administered, not a urine test.

There's so much misinformation in this thread. A drug test from your Union will most likely not be random.
First, and the most important, the testing kits and testing conditions for probation will be different from those of a employer/union. Meaning, if anyone decides it's a good idea to look at your wee-wee at LabCorp, for example, you have the right to tell him to fuck off. Tests for non-criminal analysis are usually a 5 panel test, unless for more physically or/and more dangerous jobs, while tests for probation, you do not have to right to tell the guy to ease his eyes from your cock. BOTH tests detect if the sample is natural by testing temperature, pH, creatine levels(testing dilution), and oxidizing agents(bleach, vinegar, others) that is supposed to "cleanse" your urine. MOST of these practices lead to a false positive, if not FAIL.
There's certain techniques people try to take attempting to pass these tests, but I would only recommend masking and substation for this employer test, basing this only from experience and a lot of research. I would never risk a urinary exam while on probation, if you're not mature enough to be responsible while your freedom is at stake, then you deserve the consequence. Now, I've had family take an extended panel test with a "masked sample". These masking products can be purchased from smut/smoke shops. Like I've mentioned above, these test detect adulterants, but I'm only guessing when I say that there are newer products, different formulas, that do work and has not caught on with UA facilites, or just have yet to implement up-to-date techniques. My family members have passed on more than one occasion and with different brands of the same product at a PROBATION facility. Keep in mind, these products don't mask all drugs, but THC and the metabolites are some of them.
Another way is to get a clean friend or family member of yours to provide you with clean. Just keep it optimal temperature until it's time to turn it in. 92-99 degrees is optimum. How? Use your imagination.

Been there, done that and I learned from my mistakes. Not only will I never put myself in a position to get arrested, I will never ever choose probation over time. No one is forced into probation, therefore no one is forced to be drug screened monthly.
I hope that helps you understand why it's stupid to sign for the probation you aren't planning to uphold your end of the deal, not my post.

i see where you're coming from. everyone plays the game a little differently. they have it. it changes from place to place and situation to situation.
i know a lot of people who violate their SIS probation to go to the DOC and do a little time so they come out on parole. that way every day counts and they cant revoke your shit.

All you need is 48 hours of sobriety
Buy one of those "cleansing" drinks from GNC.
Don't mention that you're taking a test or they won't sell you the shit.
Drink it in the morning on the day of the test.
Keep drinking water.
Piss like 4-6 times before you go to take the test.
Then, give a mid stream sample.
Shit works, dawg. Did it for gubbment tests and passed every time.

It worked for me every time, without fail.
And these were tests I was taking for probation.
One would assume that the state tests would be the hardest to pass, but admittedly I don't know. It's the only time in my life that I've been tested, aside from tests for jahbs.
I stand by what I said.
What kind of tests are you taking? Follicle or some shit? I don't see why my method wouldn't work for you.

DO NOT GET A DRINK!!! thats spending money to fuck up a test. spend money on synthetic urine. labs can NOT tell its fake!!! perfect pH, gravity, creatinine level, etc. you cant go wrong, unless you get the temp too hot or too cool. but its pretty easy. get some tight workout shorts to wear so you can keep the bottle tucked next to your balls.

Go in the bathroom and turn on the hot water and steam all the thc out of your skin and then get outside and run five miles keep exercising hardcore but dont exercise the day before your test and drink hell of cranberry juice and all day before your test continue to hydrate heavily and you'll pass - i know dis i passed a military drug test in four days and they sent that shit to a lab to analyze it

This is not true. Your constitutional right to privacy completely doesn't apply here. You're applying for a job with a private institution, you're more than welcome to exercise your right to privacy and NOT pee into the cup, but then you won't get the job. You however can waive those rights in the pursuit of employment. You can NOT choose to pee into the cup, but tell them how you want to do it because of privacy.
I'm constantly amazed at how my friends in the military spout off American laws and ethics like they're Harvard law scholars, but don't actually have a grasp on what the rights really entail.

Wrong on all counts again, friend. I think you're just not familiar with the common definition of a lab. Anywhere analysis is done is legally registered as a lab. It HAS to be. You literally can NOT get chemical analysis done outside a lab, due to the definition of the word.
And as for the urine leaving your body. Yes. Yes they can watch. And they will if they want to. And if you want to protest it, they will simply say "Your choice, pee in this cup, or you don't get the job."
And then you whip it out and pee, with them standing there. Or you don't get the job.
Edited to say: it's very unlikely that for an employment screening you will be subjected to scrutiny of that magnitude, but the point is that they CAN if they want to. For probation or similar situations, it's more likely.

When I was on probation they watched me while I gave them my sample.
However, whenever I took a test for employment, they never watched me.
I'll always recommend the drink; it has always worked for me.

They watched the piss come out of my dick.
Their bathroom had mirrors on all of the walls.
They would either stare directly at my junk or view it from the mirror, depending on which CO was watching me.
Don't get arrested, it sucks
