Okay so this is the first time I have logged onto this site, I frequent the shroomery. The question I have is; How many times (generations) can I keep cutting clones? I only have one light and it's in the flowering cycle so after harvest I cut a few starts and give them a bunch of light and veg fertilizer which seems to work well but how many times can I do this before the genetic of my plants are fucked and I need to start again? So far I have done this 5 times with the same strain of plant, I have noticed the last time I did this the new veg leafs on the clones didn't fork much at all and in general they just didn't look right. Thanks for your help.
They're not looking right because you're flowering and then revegging. This is extremely stressful to the plant. Technically you can clone thousands of times without any issues. But the stress you are putting them through is going to give you issues.
Its super cheap and easy to construct a veg tent with a shop light, PVC pipe, and panda film. Then you can keep a mother and takes clones for decades with out issues.
