IP camera *update*

well after my flood I've decided to invest in a IP camera. That and I just like technology!
anyways it's made by D-LINK and it's a wireless (with the exception of the power cord..) camera with Day & Night IR camera and Email notification. The signal streams to a D-Link server that you can log into from your computer/phone from anywhere.
My concern is that there are 4 IR led emmiters on the front (for the night vision function), one red or green LED on the front (depending on if camera is connected, should be green all the time), and a blue led on the back that flashes for the Wi-Fi connection.. will these little guys be much of problem if the unit is like 3-4 feet above the plants?? It would suck to have a whole crop hermie because of a few tiny LEDs.
perhaps if it's an issue I'll just put it up outside the tent in the grow room where I can see the res and ballast and everything and just assume as long as there's not fire or water everywhere that everything is alive inside...
**EDIT: UPDATE: I've decided not to put the camera directly in the tent, the bright light of the HID (or perhaps the EMI from the ballast outside the tent) is causing large black lines in the feed, and the 1000w HPS washes out most of the contrast. I attached it to the ceiling facing a random spot on the floor in the general middle of the room, with nothing really incriminating in view (it IS a medical grow.) just for good measure. seeing as how I'm looking to ease my fears of another flood progressing without my knowledge I'll at least be able to see when there's water pooling out on the floor! if you have $70-$100 I highly suggest one!**

Green light is fine to have on during the flowering stages. You could always put tape over the other lights. But it looks like you don't need to worry about that anyways. Good luck man I hope you don't have any more flooding issues.

Thanks H.A. I just posted a log in the Cultivation forum that's got a few pictures if you're curious as to what you're helping create haha.
