Time for a little update :smile:

Last week I pulled the males from the bunch.

So I believe I have left:
4x Heavy Duty Fruity
6x Killing Fields
1x Critical Jack Auto
1x Pineapple Chunk

I say I believe because I think i have mixed up some of the HDF's & KF's.
And I cant really tell which ones are which (apart from the purple pheno KF's) so I will have to inspect the trichomes carefully as the KF's take 1 month longer. I thought it would be easy to tell by the leaves (sativa vs indica) but i cant tell lol

Anyways, I have upgraded the pots for the HDF's. Just waiting for more pots to be delivered and I'll upgrade the KF's pots too.

Some of the KF's are coming out a lovely dark blue/purple colour :laugh:

I'll upload some pics in the next couple days.

We have houseguests at the moment, so its a little hard to do so if I wanna keep it a secret

My Critical Jack Auto is at 8 weeks.
Checked the trichomes, they are all still white.

When should I start flushing? Now, so that flush is finished by the time the trichomes are ready?
Or should I wait for some of the trichomes to finish and then flush?
Am using General Hydroponics FloraKleen.
Any assistance would be much apprecated :laugh:

Well, being auto its supposed to be from seed to harvest in 9 weeks.

From what I've read, not experience. Different autos can still have different flowering times. Some 6 weeks some longer.

I would hold off on flushing until you at least some trichomes turning.

I think I read somewhere that flushing during the final stages, you hinder your harvest as this is when the plant puts on most of its weight and THC.

Would I be better off nuting all the way through, then doing an emergency flush via the bubbler bucket method, to make sure I get max productivity?

I flush when they are about a week out. That late in the game you're dealing more with ripening, than them getting thicker/denser. But again this depends on how far along they are. Flushing give you a much smoother smoke, and they still have nutrients stored in the fan leaves to munch on.

What about switching nute brands mid flower?
I am just about out of Nutrifield Coco a+b, and couldn't find any for a reasonable price (place I used to buy from is under new management, and they are greedy fuckers! Everything is minimum rrp regardless of how many you buy, and they no longer give pricing out over the phone. Rediculous!), so instead I got some "Dutch Master Gold Flower a+b".
Can I just swap on my next watering? Or should I gradually introduce it, while reducing the Nutrifield nutes?

As long as they have a similar NPK profile it should be fine. I would still introduce it at half rate though.
