Didnt know the flash was on for the first 4, thats why there is that yellow colouring. Its all the same colour green IRL. 5 gives a better idea of colour.

Covered the bare soil with some mulched grass clippings mixed with a handfull or 2 of verm and some slow release fert. Watered in with some seaweed tea.

That is flowering for sure, 100%.

Pre-flowers are only single calyxes (not sure what they're called on the males) that grow from the nodes at the base of branches and can be quite hard to see at first. As soon as there are multiple pistils and calyxes at the tips of the branches (like the above), the plant is flowering. You can see in some of the pics (4th from last) where there is plainly the bud sites forming at the branch tips and you can see, if you follow the stem upwards above the forming tips, at the next node on the main stem, there is the old pre-flowers with now brown pistils at the base of the bud site where it joins the main stem.

I doubt it, sense ambient light would be enough to keep it from flowering during it's shaded times. But, I have only grown outdoors a few times and that was directly in the ground so I don't know for sure how moving to a shadier spot would effect them.

I would have to say it's flowing now because of a combination of genetics and exact length of the day cycle. Being bagseed, you are more likely to see a variety of genetics and hence, some may flower sooner than others from the same bagseed stock.

No reply to my Fert Thread, i went ahead. 3rd day of foliar feed(xtremely diluted) and flowers have swollen and feel solid/dense compared to few days ago when they where airy.

Got my first strong smell today although i buried me nose in a flower during moving. Passion fruit and mango! My fav 2 fruits! wish i kept the male now just for some seeds.....
Guess thats why i am purchasing some nice a-grade indica an sativa for next year. This new plot is perfect and undetectable.

Cant transplant into ground, buying a bigger pot and more mix. going for a more centralised planting aswell.

I wouldn't foliar feed this late into flowering. It might affect the taste/cure. I heard osmocote and other time-release ferts are not that well suited to growing pot. Niether is MG or other salt-based ferts. Organic teas and additives are great and better for your plants. But use what you can and see how it works.

Transplanting couldn't hurt, but it would have been better done just prior to flowering.

Flowering sorta snuck up. This is first tentative outdoor. A few bush an set an water plants in ground..  dialuted  foliar  feed. Got a reply at shroomery on feed thread.  Osmocote ain't bad when  used in hot areas an well watered. MG was suggested an I guess it egar growers over feeding with it that got bad name. So gonna use slighty mo diluted

That dead leaf looks like potassium deficiency combined with magnesium deficiency. Both are common in flowering. If the problem isn't pH lockout, then you just need to add some bloom/PK boost product that also contains magnesium. Or water with some epsom salts to supply the magnesium, which looks like a bigger problem than the potassium (opinions anyone else?).

Also keep in mind that foliar feeding is a super efficient way to supply magnesium and potassium, regardless of weather the problem is regular deficiency or lockout.

To know for sure, you would need to know the soil pH.

mould attacked 2 buds on my plant, had to chop 2 bits off at 7 weeks(approx).
scales say 7g DWT, its at 10.5g wet.

If i did that you would be horrified. Had huge amounts of rain and flooding around here when she was flowering twords 8 week mark i think and i got a heavy attack of mould. im still finding mould sites :smbfacepalm:

Just went out to get a ready bud to put in a bag of extremly dry weed and found mould in what i thought was a healthy section. Going to chop tonight to avoid losing more to mould attacks. Not gonna be able to dry as single colas, going to have to dry each bud individually as popcorn nggs:death::smbfacepalm:

Freak turn of nature were going through past few years always massive floods with massive property damage. If was indica would have been fine as it would have finnished before rains/few days inside from rain.

Thinking Papaya by nirvana, had eye one it for a few years.

Indoors isnt viable:frown:

As i explaind earlier, indoor is not a viable option for me.
I would love too but alas i cant. This was my first dedicated soil grow. despite the mould(freak of nature) i would call it a sucess from my point of view.

Free weed mate that gets me sufficently  stoned. Cant complain about that.

I put this down as a test run and just a exp to gain knowledge. Thats what this excersise was all about, a quest to quench my thirst for knowledge.

PS havnt harvested the whole plant yet btw...

So here we go!!

Smell is the first thing that hits you with my homegrown.

A extremely strong Pine,tar and fuel scent with a hint of skunk that lingers like fucking crazy!!!
Smoke is extremely white and thick but very smooth. the taste is of a refreshing pine/blackberry taste.
All buds are covered in trichomes and  resin/sticky as fuck.
Some Buds are extremely dense and tight while others are a slight more airy but the others are just so tight and dense it makes you notice more.
Not alot of tar residue left on the bong after several hits and water goes a light green yellow.

Thats a couple of nice head buds i think its bout 10g there.
