Hello, I am a member of the sister site shroomery.org. I had included some pictures of my friends plant that's growing and received a pm saying his plant doesn't look too well.
Figured I'd post his specs/soil/etc... and get some feedback hopefully.
Currently for liquids he is ph balancing and adding 20/20/20 nutrients to filtered water. For soil he bought fox farms ocean forest soil and has yet to add anything else to it. I have vermiculite and perlite from my mushroom grows but he doesn't seem too interested in either of those. The light being used is a 125w cfl 6400k spectrum.
Early on in the grow he accidentally vacuumed a 3 leafer off (you can tell in the first pic). Do you think this has caused stunted growth? The plant is on about day 25 or so and is getting bushy as fuck.
Any input is appreciated!
EDIT: Forgot to mention it's about 8-9 inches tall from soil to top of plant.

My water is about 6-6.5. My soil I am not sure though as I don't have the right stuff. I am aerating my water too but it constantly is raising my ph.

i don't know we are all growers or are interested in growing ourselves on this site. you will get alot further here without making up excuses like "its my friends plant"

I don't mind owning up to it. But the fact of the matter is, it's not my plant not my light not my soil not my nutrients not my anything. I'm growing mushrooms and don't mind fessing up to that. Schedule 1 is schedule 1 my friend.
It would be nice if you weren't an ignorant asshole though. 
It doesn't really matter whose it is. I provide information you guys provide answers.
Also, when you work at a job where you type things verbatim (google the word since you're too dumb to know what it means probably) for your boss constantly it carries over into anything I do.

Being from Canada marihuana is a schedule 2 substance and judging from your attitude and statement you obviously aren't Canadian. And good job for growing mushrooms, personally my last attempt failed miserably.
As far as this topic is concerned im gonna bow out simply as i don't believe that its not your plant or this is a troll considering there is nothing wrong with it. And judging by your reply and the Oh so famous Ashton Kutcher emoticon I'm gonna lead towards the latter of the two.

Secondly, from the pictures and information supplied, the plant in question appears to have no real problems.
The *slight* curling up of the leaves may indicate a slight heat issue, or possibly some salt buildup.
You can determine the soil's PH by watering the pot until you have some runoff come out the bottom. Test that water's PH and that will tell you what the PH of the soil is. If it's too high, water again {with a lower PH'd water) until you get runoff with the right PH.
I myself am new to growing, but this is how I was taught to test and change the PH in soil... Knowing your soil's PH and keeping it within acceptable parameters is paramount to producing a high quality product.
