Rules in the garden
    #547318 - 04/16/11 07:22 PM (12 years, 11 months ago)

Yes, I know nobody ever needs to know. Okay that said, when family comes by I do give them a tour. They know what I do, so I had to establish rules. Look but don't touch. Only exception is a gental rub on the stems to get a whiff. I get pissed if I see any nug squezzing or leaf touching. Do you guys have rules for family? Almost forgot no pics and no phones allowed.

I don't tell anyone period.  Family or not.  IF they are not there growing it, they don't need to know about it...So in my rule book you broke rule number 1!

There's a few people I know that know I grow. But I don't trust ANYONE to know where we live! My cousin knows, but that's because I live with him, and I'm teaching him to be able to grow for him and his girl.

Other than that, we don't really let people in... It's just too much of a risk for us. I may be paranoid, but I think everyone's out to steal my shit! lol

Since my kids work for me growing they know. My brother has forgotten more about growing then I will ever know and he still grows. Family in other states are all growers. The only ones in the entire family who don't grow are my parents and they have kind of figured it out since even there brothers and sisters are growers.

It's a family thing. :happyweed:

I take care of this ahead of time by telling girls who I get serious with that I will need my own private shed or room to conduct socially unacceptable behavior....like Dexter (the TV movie about a Sociopath) which makes them laugh and say whatever I don't think that would be a problem.

You can protect your ass and stay in a relationship if  you portray yourself as an independent person who needs their own privacy.
This is harder said than done.
I have broke up with a girl I dated for 5 years and I never told her about my illegal activities.  She knew me as a private person who needed their space.

Same thing goes for your wife!  Lets say you have a kid and get divorced.  You are fucked in terms of custody since she can hold your weed operation over your head.

I agree with whats been said. I have had a wife for 6 years zero problem, even if we were to divorce zero problem. My ex and I were together 10 years zero problem. I pick women of good character. Works for me but not for most.

I live in Cali and have a med card, so I don't really care who I tell. I feel so liberated here.

Actually it's worse here in Cali. When the cops can't bust you under state law they just make a federal case out of it like they do with the clubs. When this happens you can't even mention in court that your a med patient cause they don't recognize it as a legit medicine.

Not really, I've never seen that happen once. No cop is even going to worry about a few plant in some kids closet.

Here in Mendocino and in Humboldt it happens all the time. Maybe in places in the Southern part of the state where the grow scene is pretty much a joke it doesn't happen much. That's why 5 of my 8 gardens are in the Southern part of the state.

(that and you get way way way more money for buds down there then up North) :money:

Yeah I'm in the San Gaberial Valley, so I'm only around the small amateur grows. Damn, I didn't know that that shit was still happening up north.

Not nearly as often as it use to. Been a while in fact. Republicans win the next election then it will become common again Democrats win and things will stay like they are now. Supposedly there gonna try and put it up for a vote to be legal again in 2012.  :potleaf:
