Setup:
2x250w MH vedge / 2x400w HPS to flower
5x5x7 Secretjardin Tent
BCnorthernlights Closet 800 setup-http://www.bcnorthernlights.com/grow-kits/closet-800
Nutes: Advanced Nutrients 3 part Micro/grow/Bloom, plus A.N. Bud Candy during flower(cannot afford more flower enhancers this time around  )
Strain:Dutch Passion's Mazar (started from femmed seeds)
Flower time:7-9 weeks
Height at flower: 8-14 inchs.
I'm currently just starting week 4 of flower, no sign of any hermies. (i've never gotten a hermie from dutch passion femmed seeds)
Everything is going well, though my reflectors are not air cooled so the tent gets up to 31c, but luckly for me Mazar prefers warmer temps..will be upgrading to 6' coolstar tubes for next grow.

3 of the plants must have more of the %10 sativa genetics side as they grew about 8 inches larger than the rest in the same ammount of time...

Nice will be watching you now that I'm back in front of my pc. Have 2 bagseed ladies going from some mexican seed(frosty as shit only 3 weeks in flower) and some outdoors. Harvesting in a few weeks from the indoor I'll post some pics up when I cut them down. I like advanced nutrients one of my favorites but I bought humboldt this time and you may wanna look in to their 3 part system its fucking nice and a little more cost efficient.
But stick with what works just letting you know in case funds run low again.

I was using technaflora nutes and i really liked them, but i moved to a new city just b4 starting this crop and no stores here carry them, but i'm really liking the A.N. nutes, easy to use and they auto PH balance to 5.8-6.2, though u have to use all their products for it to actually work(good marketing on their part lol) My next grow i'm going with the M/G/B base and the Hobbyist&expert level flowering kits, my buddy is using them now and he's getting awesome results. But i'll look into the Humbolt stuff, always looking so save $$ even if i can afford more expensive stuff, since i'm not working anymore and have returned to school, so i'm trying to make my money stretch as far as possible...
Its funny, i got a genetic oddity one of the larger plants grew to 3 feet and they topped itself! lol never seen that happen b4. check this pic...

Mon 18th april Update:
Just started week 5 of flowering, i had to move my lights right to the top of my tent as 3 of the plants grew waaay to tall, so i trimmed off alot of the lower braches on my plants as they won't get enough light to mature at the same time as the tops...next batch i'm going to start from clone rather than seeds, should eliminate the uneven growth problem. Anyways here as a few pics i took.

Just a quick update, i had to chop the top 12 inches off my largest plant(was almost 6ft tall, while the rest are 3-4 ft) so i could lower the light to get better lumen penetration into the canopy...i dried out the top i cut off and smoked a j of it....though it tastes like crap at this point the high was quick to hit and long lasting....can't wait for the mature and dried/cured bud....

nice setup!
your plants are stretching a little, try to move the lights closer to them.
if you didn't flushed the plant before harvest i'm sure the taste won't be as nice as you think

ya there wasn't much i could do about the stretching due to the heat build up, and uneven growth due to starting from seed..i didn't cut down the plant completely, just the top foot so it was nvr flushed, still for only being in the 5th week of flower it was more than potent.....can't wait for the finish product. Next batch will be AK 47 from clone under a 1000w aircooled...
Will post another update on monday!

Mon Apr 25th update
Well it turns out i juiced the plants last watering, last time i mix nutes stoned lol, so i got some nute burn, didn't seem to effect the growth though. Plants look good apart from burt tips and some curled ends. I ended up chopping the taller plants to a more reasonable height so i could lower the lights to cover all the tops better.I won't be updating for 2 weeks as i am going away. Heres some pics. SOrry guys, i haven't had time to take pics and do a proper update since i got home, so i thought i'd just give you all a quick update. Well remember when i got nute burn few weeks ago, i must have got nute lockout aswell as they didn't really grow for that week, so i am going to let them flower for an extra week. So now it looks like i will crop around the 23rd... flowers are looking great and are SUPER crystaly. I'll take a couple pics once the lights come on today and update this with a couple pics later.

Did you build that hood on your cool tube?
I am looking into a cooltube but I want good light coverage like an air cooled hood without the bulk...

Actually its a Coolstar brand, not cooltube,imo cooltubes suck,their not even fully glass tubes... coolstars are and have decent reflectors, the one i bought is the coolstar plus , the standard coolstar has a basic 22' batwing reflector. both models can have their reflector removed too if you want to hang the bulb vertically. this is where i bought mine from, they carry both models....

just a side note, got my 10 femmed AK47 seeds today for my next grow! can't wait their supposed to fully mature in just 45-49 days!

Cooltube and coolstar are 2 different brands of tube sytle AC reflectors. Cooltubes have crappy small refelctors, coolstars have good larger ones.

The tube style Aircooling is much more efficient, requires less airflow to cool. But in actual use there's not a huge amount of difference between hood and tube AC. Though i think the tubes are more versatile in the long run.

Just thought i would post an update, if any of ya read my other thread you know i found 3 seeds in a bud i cut off a plant, i cut off a whole branch from one plant to inspect the flowers for more seeds, i only found a single seed, but i decided i will chop them all on sunday even though only 3 plants will be fully mature outta the 10, though the rest will be about 90% there, don't want to risk much more seed development if any other buds where pollinated...still can't find a single pollen sac....its baffling me as i watched the plants very closely since the start and never saw any signs of male parts....o well... still will be some nice smoke, potency is already there.

heres a few pics of my crop, turned out alright, though since they were about a week early the buds aren't as thick as i would have liked, still i ended up with just over 5 ounces. Sorry for the crappy pics but my good camera died....

Man if you've never smoked Mazar you should try it sometime...probably the smoothest strain i've ever smoked...and it has very little smell even at the end of flowering, but the cured buds STINK like sweet skunk....will always be my fav strain, well this and Jack Herer....pic shows bud after 5 days of hanging and 10 of curing in a jar.

the buds are actually alot denser than they appear, that one in the above pic is 5 grams and its totally dry. My final yield after weighing it in when i wasn't high turned out to be just under 8 ounces of cured bud from 10 plants, though 2 of them where kinda screwed up and only yielded 12g between them, but the other 8 had great yields.
I've grown alot of different strains and i always end up back with Mazar as its heads and tails above most strains when it comes to smoothness,Stone and smell. Its great for indoor since it doesn't have much more than a slight lemony smell even right up to the end of flowering. But once cured its SUPER stinky, smells alot like sweet island skunk. Also, if you mix MH with HPS(40/60 ratio) you get much higher yields and a better appearance than with HPS alone. Dunno who keeps telling people HPS only is the best way to flower...i've been growing for almost 2 decades and this was the first time i ever used HPS only, and its obviously(to my eyes) inferior than mixing the spectrum to properly match natural light as best as possible. But when i ordered all my new equipment it came with HPS only..since then i have bought that aircooled reflector and a 1000w switchable ballast in which i'm going to use a 1000w dual arc bulb for my next batch.

If that weighs 5 grams you're right it is more dense than it looks.
I am in agreement with you on the MH/HPS situation...I just like to supplement the light with CFL's, which in the end is worse and more expensive due to heat etc. What if you just throw like 1000 watts of MH in with 4000 watts of HPS? Thats 25 percent, a little bit off the 40/60 mark. I have considered it over and over and I want to buy one for it but living in the US I have to use my space wisely..Which is why I have also been considering LED a lot lately but to get the amount of light you get from 1 MH it would require 5 of those piece of shit UFO's which I'm sure you are aware of the cost.
Anyway, just throwing it out there.

It does, well 4.8g's... Even with %25 MH it will improve yeilds/colors...I cannot use more then a 1000w lamp in my tent, even with air cooling the temps can get up there. My buddy is using the same bulb i just bought for my next batch,a 1000w plantmax dual arc. its a great idea to put a 600wHPS and 400w MH lamps in one bulb. saves me from having to use sererate bulbs/ballasts. plus the dual arc runs cooler than a standard 1000w HPS. I'm not convinced yet about LED's herd way too many mixed reviews. Not to mention their freekn costly right now...HPS/MH is still the way to go for now IMO...atleast till the leds are more less the same price as HID's for the same output.
Man it sux i'm all ready to start my next batch, got some AK47 seeds, but i have to move to a larger apartment b4 i start...not giving up my bedroom again to setup my tent, i like sleeping in my bed rather than my couch lol so no go till i get into a 2 bdrm or a house if i can swing it... least i got enough smoke to last me for about 6 months....
