I've been looking at this scope here... I know it's a bit expensive, but I'm all about cool electronic gadgets like this.
Do you think it's worth it?

ehhhhhh, to me that's a tad bit overkill. If you have other uses for it, then maybe? It's not something I would buy, but then again I just use my scope to look at trichs so I don't need something fancy

if you're looking to save a couple of bucks thinkgeek has one for like 40 bucks cheaper. It may not be as nice as the one you linked though, I have no experience with either scope so take all of this with a grain of salt.
