I was in class. I already got emailed a preview of his speech from his supporter organization site or whatever.

It tells you stuff you can do to support him, I for one called my representative over the health care reform repeal. I know for a fact she voted for the repeal too, but you know ya gotta do what you can. Otherwise you're not alowed to complain when it changes a way you don't like.

I'll probably google it.

You know, the extensive support for the health care bill really amazes me.  It's like all you need to do in this country, to get your base to support something whole heartedly, is to point out that the other side doesn't like it

Hell, I see more critical thinking from fucking sport fans:  <<<One of the most illuminating health care stories to come along in the last couple weeks was Politico’s take on the J.P. Morgan Health Care Conference in San Francisco. Politico’s story sang with information. The insurance industry is going to make a killing on health reform. But, then again, we’ve known that ever since the public option was eliminated.

The big takeaway from the conference was this: “Investors say they’re increasingly optimistic on health insurers’ future for two crucial reasons: regulations released this year have been relatively industry-friendly, increasingly stability, and the health reform’s new business opportunities are beginning to look more tangible.” Kind of makes you think health reform was about expanding markets for insurance sellers as much as it was about covering the poor and uninsured.>>>

Do you really think the US Government would do anything to legitimately help the poor?

For a "Christian Nation" this country exhibits some of the most anti-christian tendencies.

Kind of makes me think a large majority of people are hypocrites.

Shits broken. I keep telling myself "Naw man, democracy will come through and fix this" but it just seems to be going deeper down the shitter.

Every politician ignores the real issues and distracts us with their cry baby bickering across party lines. It's not the republicans faults, or the democrats faults, it's fault of every citizen of this country, and if our leaders don't have the ability to take responsibility for their failures then there is no hope for our country. They need to lead by example morally.

He's into fear mongering A LOT = He's into making people scared  ?

That's quiet a cynical way of looking at it. Another way is he's into waking people up (informing them...) so they can wake-up others and when enough people are awake then change can happen.

Since the stuff people have to wake-up is scarey, so i guess you could say he fear mongers. That's such a misleading way of putting it though

He has ball I'll give him that.

While some things he says may be based in fact, he tries to know it all like he is going to blow the cover on the whole thing, and that's where he loses some of his credibility. He draws links that aren't there and stretches to put everything together, personally I don't think there is one grand conspiracy.

Barry Soetoro told an obvious porky pie in the state of union thing yesterday.

He was saying how "80% of Americans" will be able to have access to really fast trains, much quicker than driving and flying and "without the pat-down". By pat-down he meant the TSA at airports.

Why did he say that when Janet Napolitano aready said there will be TSA at train stations, sport stadiums and other public places searching people and violating their rights?

Here's a link to a news article on what i just said

beginning was ok. what he said at the end the whole thing about we need a government that makes sacrifices like the every day american family makes to keep the family a float then the government should do the same. and reinvest it into the schools. (my wife said well that's cos of the war machine we have been funding cence the gulf war.)

Very original way of spelling "since"

The government (technically the "elite" who rule the world, but for simplicity reasons i'll just say "government") are trying take away as much individuality away from us as possible.

There are many examples but i'll just give you a few of how they are doing so.

1) TSA at airports
2) CPS literally stealing children without just cause. Here's one example
3) Internet IDs. Plans are in action for everyone to have an internet ID so they have to log onto the internet and can even be banned from internet. Here's an article on the subject.
4) One-child policy and a whole heap of other tyranny in the name of stoping the fraudulent global warming. Article. Global warming is nothing but a fraud btw.

The four things i just mention isn't even 0.5% of what's to come. I cbf'd explaing it all. I'll tellin ya now fellas, you better wake the fuck up if you want to live. Simple as that!

What about Ron Paul? At least with Ron and Rand Paul you know for certain that they are patriotic Americans who will serve the people and honor the Constitution.

I wouldn't take my chances with Nader if i were you. Don't wanna risk another puppet president getting into office and screwing you over again now do ya?

Yeah. This type of subject shouldn't spoken about in public forums. Let's still talking about Alex Jones.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

Ron and Rand Paul are real. If you payed attention to then for 5 mins you'd be able to tell. I've heard Ron and Rand Paul on the Alex Jones radio show many a time. I can garuntee you they are real

Well, speaking as a poor person. Me and my families lives and financial situation have significantly improved since obama took office.

Whether or not you think its because of obama is yours to argue, but I go with out food a lot less (I can't even recall once in recent memory).

It was probably George Bush, but I'd be interested to know what program helped you.

Medical, Id describe more but its really to specific for me saying over the internet. But we get help now with bills that are pretty damn huge for the medicine alone, let a lone the treatment. :shrug

tl;dr I don't want to say the program, because this is just pretty sensitive information.

And idk whether or not my actions of not working on purpose so we can qualify are all the legitimate (although I always assume it is since I'm a full time student).

Idk I might be paranoid but its just nothing I'd risk losing. My education would very possibly be at stake, because I wouldn't leave home if my parents weren't getting by.  And its kinda the only way for me to know I'll always have a job, thank god for the constant growing demand for education.

:billymaythumbup:

I'm glad you found a way to get some assistance whatever it may be (state or federal)

My parents would be over their heads in medical debt had the hospital my mother stayed in not pretty much given her a 100g's in health care cost free (that's with health insurance)

Getting sick in these times is scary prospect.

In the old days you get sick and die so expensive or not it is still an "improvement". Medical care ain't cheap though that is for sure.

I agree to a point.  Can't always a coddle the little man as harsh as it seems.  The strong will survive.  Used to be the physically strong.  Now it is the financially strong.

When the time comes for the physically strong to crush the financially strong, I'll be there on the side of whomever pays the most.

the problem is that the legislation doesn't actually solve the underlying issues with health care and does nothing to address the issue of rising health care costs.  It's just shifts around who covers those costs
