nice, my bro grew a nice plant in similar sized buckets with straight perlite a while back.i do like the growth rate, its fast

Flushed last night with 1 tbsp of clearex per gal. Each pot got 1 gal of water through it and was then drained. Think I'm dealing with either a K or a Mg def. I'll try and get some pics up tomorrow.

Fed some cal mag hence the up in the pH. I dunno, I'm getting a sinking feeling that they're just not getting enough food. Buds look awfully small for how long they've been flowering. Maybe they'll surprise me and pack on some weight in the next 3 weeks, but I really think I underfed them and I'm suffering for it. I might bump the food up to 1000 for the rest of the way out. I broke my 1000 PPM rule tonight, but they're suffering from either a Mg or a K problem right now so they needed a little extra. If it's a K problem hopefully the extra bloom nutes help, if not I have a bag of kool bloom I could use (even though I'd like to stick with just AN products for this run).
Not looking like a good harvest, but oh well got tons of cuttings waiting for me to root them

So I had gone and bought a brand new 600 watt ballast on friday because my lamp just looked dim. My old ballast was also taking up to 40 seconds just to fire the bulb so I thought something was up. So, thank god I got a xmas bonus because the new one set me back 260. Brought it home, lamp still looked dim. At least it was firing fast though. So I broke out a back up lamp that had been through 3 grows, plugged it in, and bam blinding light again.
So either I bought a defective bulb in November or my old ballast was just killing bulbs due to a defect. Luckily I can send it back in to get refurbed for free so at least I'll have a spare now.
Sorry, I'm being lazy with the pics again. I'll get some up soon.

So I'm really considering going hempy, and my reason is I think it will be easier to grow in than soil. Easier for me, in that I will be in control of the food my plants are getting and not my FFOF soil. Soil just stresses me out. I have a hard time understanding what they need and when.
Am I on to anything here in your opinion?

Well, the buds are looking a hell of a lot better then they were a week or so ago. Here's some pics, I know I've been late and I'm sorry. Hopefully the trich pics will make up for it, I finally remembered the trick to getting my old camera to get great macro shots. I also included a pic of the deficiency that was asked for a while ago. Sorry about that 
Anyways, these motherfuckers stink. I know I need a new carbon filter, but goddamn. I'm gonna need something to mask the air while it's drying heh. This is their last week of food. They'll get one more dose of nutes on thursday, then I'll begin flushing them out on saturday. Harvest is planned for the 22, I'm looking forward to getting a little break and will be preparing clones this weekend for the next run.

Ugh, sorry for no updates I've been laid out with this nasty fucking cold. Haven't had much energy to take pics or keep progress. Flush started last Sunday. They were flushed/leached using 1 gal of water with 1 tbsp of clearex per container. I pour the whole gallon through then drain the water out of the "rez". Tues they just received a dose of plain, pH balanced, water. I won't give them anything else and will be chopping them on saturday.
I promise to take a few harvest pics and post them before I complete this log. I have 6 kushberry clones waiting on roots for my next run. I'll be picking the best 4 out of the bunch to flower. After that run I'll be moving onto something else entirely. Maybe something from Mr Nice, haven't really decided yet, but I'm super bored of the skunk train.

The chop is commencing in two hours. Gotta take the girl to work then its off to break my back for 3-4 hours as I chop em down.
Seems like I can't catch a break on harvest day either, last time I was hungover from partying, this time I'm sick, ugh. I hate trimming enough as it is, why does my body have to make it worse?
At least I'll have 6 more plants worth of trim to add to the hash stash. I really do need to get off my ass and get my friends bubble bags. My next hash run is gonna be fairly large which I'm pretty excited about it. I'd love to get close to an oz of bubble hash to store away.

TIIIIIIMMMMBEEEEEEER!
Total flowering time 61 days. Started the harvest at 11:45 this morning, by the time I hung up the last bud it was close to 6 pm. That's about an hr of work per plant, ugh, I FUCKING HATE HARVESTING. I swear I'm saving up to buy one of those spin pro things. Fuck this by hand bullshit, after the third hour my back and shoulders are just fucking killing me. At this point spending 300-400 dollars on one of those spin machines is looking mighty fucking tempting.
I'll get some better bud shots tomorrow, by the time I finished up the sun had pretty much gone down and I had no desire to fuck around with an LED light and my camera heh. I'll pull some buds down in the morning and do some better closeups with natural light.
I can't emphasize enough how much I love this strain. Beautiful, resin covered, dense, tight, colas. Wonderful aroma (although I don't smell the skunk until I leave the house then come in again), and a fairly decent taste. However the high is what I love most about it, knocks me on my ass and puts me to sleep. Perfect for my nighttime smoke. It's in my top 3 favorite ever grown and I don't see it leaving my garden for a long while. Which reminds me that I need to reclone the mom asap.
Anyways, that wraps it up for this grow. Next run will be an all Kushberry run while I get some new gear prepared for the summer harvest!
