So...just wondering, when you're in a smoking circle, who gets the first hit from a bowl?
And, which direction does it go?
With us, its almost always the person who packed it, unless theres one of those "you gotta taste this shit" scenarios going on. And, always to the left. Unless its an oddly shaped circle, in which case its whoevers closest to you

With me it depends. If it's with a circle of close friends, and we all got bud then whoever picks the weed and packs it. If we're not close friends, or I'm out of bud to match then I hand it to whomever weed it is. Joints are always lit by the roller though.

In my circle its whoever chops the weed gets first hit, and then passes it to the left. We pack the cone (bowl) on a bong once for each person here, enough for a nice big milky hit then it rips through.

Whoever spins the blunt or packs the bowl gets the first hit.
The blunt's usually passed to the left.
Some people will get pissed if you light up a cig during the smoking session.
I'll usually be smoking both the weed and a cig

I don't mind, so long as your tobacco smoke isn't all in my face, or we're not inside. I don't let people smoke cigs in my house  Blunts or joints either. I think its prolly the papers that make it smell extra strong.

The one with the bud always gets first hit(when i have bud i go by bowls, not hits.)
then we just pass it, usually ends up being to the right.
i mean its not like it mattesr in my fgroup o friends, usuallys everybody brings bud and if not then bring some next time.

my response was toward almost everyone's response. Not enough people giving respect to the people bringing the weed to the table, saying first hit goes to the roller/loader. i have, kind of, a seinfeld complex with stuff like this - the ways in which society should operate.

I was scared shitless. I have a natural fear of dogs anyway (had to fight a dog,
fucked up story), but it came up to me and laid on me. It was being
super nice to me but I wouldn't even pet it, LOL
That thing chewed its' way out of a cellar door when there was a lightning
storm. Fucking crazy, but it would make a great pet.

My god thats crazy. Why did they have a wolf in a cellar? Mine are really sweethearts but very intimadating. I have a black female named Nightraven and a silver male named Brutus. ( i call it silver because its a very pretty gray)

The wolf was just in the cellar for no particular reason, I guess it got locked
in there accidentally, but it sure found its' way out, LOL
I had to attack a German Shepard that attempted to attack my little
cousin's friend. He was dumb and jumped a fence to get a dodge ball
and I heard him screaming and jumped in after him. The dog had bit down
on high upper thigh and I just started punching and kicking it. I hit
it in the snout good enough for it to let go of him and we got
the hell out of there. I only had a few scrapes, but my cousin's friend
had to go to the hospital and get stitches and shit.

holy shit dude that fucking crazy...... always check before you jump a fence. The neighbor kid learned that lesson yest. Jumped the fence into the back yard and my Lucy got his pants leg and ripped it. lol i was so pissed but i bet the kid wont ever do it again.

Always check before jumping a fence. Especially if your friend is drunk off his ass on Root100 and lands on a rock when he jumps the fence, and snaps all the bones connecting his ankle to his foot and has to be carried 8 blocks on his friends back to the Ambulance and then gets a titanium plate and 8 screws.

Roller obviously always gets first smoke no matter who buys.
The provider of the cigarette for the spliff gets second smoke unless the owner of the weed doesn't roll and in that case the owner gets second.

nah here its rollers rights (roller gets first) and whos weed it is gets second, and it continues around that circle. most the time we smoke bowls or vapes though, in which case the persons who weed it is hits it first because they packed it. trying to squeeze your way into a better hit is immature, don't do it. lighting a cigarette while the session is going on is a huge no no, cigs are to be smoked after. don't be a leech.

As it happens,whoever owns the weed usually rolls so the provider is usually first as they usually roll.

For the people that agree and use this method of having the roller light and get the first hit, I'd like to know why you agree/use this method. It doesn't seem fair in the least bit to me. Money is harder to come by than rolling a joint is. any asshole can roll a joint. to bring weed to the table is an action that is in a class by itself! i dont know why im getting all worked up about this. yeah, that's VERY true. Most of the time we are rolling our own, but I've rolled lots of other people's weed and never once, regardless of how close i was to the owner, thought that i was entitled to the first hit because i rolled it up.

thats what it is furrowed. sure, everyone can roll a joint/blunt. but not everyone can roll it to perfection. when i roll for people its because they know the shit will last longer, and in turn everyone will get higher. if you have spent time perfecting it, and know how to light it correctly (AKA NOT LIKE A CIGARETTE) then yeah you should be able to spark it. i even go as far as to take the joint from people who are hitting it too fast and fixing it, then handing it back to them.

I always offer first hit to the friend that either just got there or that I haven't seen in a while. Other than that, we always pass to the left, we always try and conserve the green, and never blow through a bubbler ().
