T-Rex's 560W LST Bagseed grow [Outdoor Flowering] - SEIZED AND DESTROYED BY COPS
    #472891 - 09/05/10 10:24 PM (13 years, 6 months ago)

Hey all, this is my second go at growing, first run was just two pot plants in my backyard and that went pretty well despite one of the plants being ripped.

So that made me want to move indoors, and since then here's what I've got :evil2:

  • Lighting:
  • - 400W HPS
  • - Another 160W in CFL's were added on the 10th Oct.

  • Nutrients
  • I don't have anything too flash, just looked for the best of a bad bunch until I can get over to a specialty store in a few weeks.
  • I got Thrive by Yates for veg with an N-P-K of 27-5.5-9. Feeding began half strength on the 12th of September

  • Training
  • I'm aiming to keep the plants under 2ft, I tied the plants down for the first time when they were 17days old

  • The Box
  • -Built a box thats 1.3m/sq and 1.5m tall but only with partial covering as the light hangs from a rafter running down the length of the roof
  • -Painted it flat white
  • -Just a regular free standing indoor fan in the corner circulating airflow

Growing the same bagseed I did last run, it gave me some fantastic smoke so I'm pretty excited:awesomenod:

Here we go!

Germinated on 26th Aug
Planted into 30/30/30 soil, coco, perlite on 29th Aug
Showed heads on 30th Aug

Taken on the 3rd of Sep

Taken today the 6th of Sep

Thanks for watching, I hope I get a few regulars to help me throughout this endeavor:bongload:

I actually got mine on eBay :awesomenod:

Here is a link to the same thing I got

The wearhouse is in Melb so it only took about 2days to arrive :awehigh:

Just a small update, I'm going to start feeding them nutes this weekend, and tie them down in another 1-2weeks

In the third pic you can see some discoloration on the leaves, its only happening on this plant, but I just thought somebody could give me some info on it?

Those are for hydro man, I'm using soil :awehigh:

And don't worry, I'm only using the seedling dose and I'll watch them from there for signs of over feedings, I'm a bit worried about the N content of the nutes I got being to high

UPDATE - Day 15

Gave them their first feeding on Sunday, half strength nutes and they loved every last drop of it :omgawesome:

I can't believe the rate of growth under this 400, my last run was twice as tall before getting this set of leaves. There has been next to no upward growth in the last week, they've just been getting nice and fat.

Also, some stuff I'm growing for my garden

My Yukka

Mondo grass clones I took about 4months ago

Some succulents

And my big ole Lamb's ear

Good to see the feeding help.  Usually soil has enough nutrients to get a plant a week or two in, unless using an organic mix, so I wasn't too surprised to see them loving it this early.  Keep it up, and try to get a picture in the dark with the flash to show the true colors...

Day 17

Tied them down today, nothing special just two cable ties looped together. Gave them a double feeding of nutrients and they showed no sign of over feeding! I seriously cannot believe how much better these plants are growing compared to my last, they look bigger, fatter and healthier than I could have imagined:eek:

Before I tied them down

And after

Topshot, and then back in the box!

Sorry for the blurry photos, I was mega high when I took them :bongload:

-Edit-

Raised lights a few inches, started using fresh tapwater on the 18th

Went into the box to find two of them quite dry and wilted, slight twisting of the leaves with the leaf margins curling up. I raised the light a good 4inch's and gave them a 3/4strenght feeding. I hope this fixes them up quick, I don't want a silly mistake like this to ruin everything:nonono:

LST isn't being quite as effective as it could be, might have to re-do the tie down, but I'll leave it for a few more days to see if it can wait till I pot them on.

Couldn't get photos because I forgot my camera but I'll get some tomorrow if anyone reminds me:jah:

Update - Day 21

Went back up to the shed today, I really wanna get on top of the LST so I tied them down again today, unfortunately I topped one of them by mistake, but I'm not super disappointed because I was gonna top at least one of them anyway.

Accidental topping

lol dam that sucks u accidentally topped it, but it always works out in time. it almost looks like an FIM,and i guess that would be exactly what it was, right?
can't wait to see what happens! with it.

Glad to see ur grows going well my friend! my luck's not so good..

What's those other ones in the trays, parsley? some kind of herb?

Thanks man!

Yea now that I think about it its more of a FIM I guess, it should produce 3tops from that if I'm lucky. Still kinda playing it by ear in terms of how I'm gonna train them for the rest of the time, might change it up and do some super cropping in the coming weeks :bongload:

The tray's next to the buds are some Azalea's that I'm trying to grow from seed, they did nothing for a few weeks and I kinda forgot about them but they have sprouted now so I'm pretty hopeful

Update - Day 26

Leaves are still wilting, so I've been flushing them for the last 2days, they do seem a bit perkier but I'm not gonna be satisfied till they are back on track, I think I over fed them a bit so if the flush doesn't work then I'm out of idea's.

This blotchy discoloration is on one of the plants too, I have no idea what it is but I'm thinking Mg def?

Tied them down once again today, they seem to be taking it pretty well :awesome: Topped plant is going well, looks like I should get 4 tops from it

The other two

Then after the tie down

Yea I think I might have spider mites but I'm yet to see one... I know some of the holes are due to me being sloppy with watering but I'm sure that's not all of it.

Update - Day 32

So everyone was transplanted into bigger pots today. They were embarrassingly root bound in their previous pots, so there should be some explosive growth in the coming days and weeks. I cut all the ties they had wrapped around the stem, so none of their stems are currently tied down, but I retied the tip's of the plant's so their lower than most of the stem. Hopefully the shoots I'm seeing from the nodes should start to bulk up!

I have to say, the plants looks alot perkier when they came out from under the CFL's than when they were under the 400, I guess they loved the change in spectrum, I can't wait to get those CFL's on a proper frame and in with the HPS :omgawesome:

Sorry for the blurry shots, I had mountains of work to do in my veggie garden today as we're finally getting some good sun and warmth so I was kinda rushed to get the shots. I'll upload some pics of my garden soon, Its really starting to take shape :awesomenod:

The root zone in that second pic looks awesome! They should really take off in about a week with roots like that. Glad to hear that you got the 400 working again. I'll bet your relieved. :gethigh:

Shouldn't those be a bit bigger for veggn for 1 month already?

How much money does your HPS light cost you? I can't even do a grow with my brothers 1000watt ballast and 1000watt HPS light because the electricity

I wish i could use HID lights to veg for a good outdoor plant but the electricity sucks and i veg with cfl's instead

Im surprised your HPS just died on you like that though...i watched my brothers whole HPS light fall ON HIS PLANTS :facepalm: and smack the ground and it still worked when he put it back up

The light falling turned em hermi,...but the light was still good

Well I'm growing from seed, and I'm using LST so that's designed to keep them short and fat. I wish I could ge a good shot of the stem to illistrait how well it's working:rasta:

And the HPS didn't die it turns out, just needed a cooldown before being turned back on:awehigh:

They are small because of a smei late transplant, did you not see the root mass in the transplant pictures? When they bind like that they don't get huge, you watch now as they get used to their bigger homes, they will explode in two weeks.

Update - Day 39

Thanks for all the comments! I really appreciate it

I built a frame and hung another 160W in CFL today, hopefully they'll really love the broader spectrum and more light.:awesomenod: Growth has been pretty explosive in the last week, and they are already starting to show roots through the bottom of their new pots! I'll probably transplant them in another 2-3weeks, but over all I'm pretty happy with how I'm going so far.

These plants are looking kinda Sativa dom like my last ones, I would really prefer an Indica dom strain but in Aus you take what you can get. They're a bit droopy in the pics because they were thirsty, but I fed them after I took the photos.

Well I got it from a legal Australian wholesaler so exposure isn't a road I can take unfortunately hahaha. And as soon as I got it out of the box I treated it better than I treat myself, I haven't even touched the bulb with my fingers since I got it, I only handle it using a mirofiber cloth.

The girls are looking awesome!  This is the exciting part, where they start getting big and causing problems.  Sneaking out to meet their boyfriends in the middle of the night, smokin' and cussin'...

That's what I use, and I highly recommend it over zip ties.  I've never used the latter for LST, but I can see some disadvantages compared to coated wire: having to cut them off and use new ones when you want to change something, the risk of their sharp-ish edges damaging the plant, and the ability to tightly twist the wires around a branch to temporarily hold it (like if it doesn't want to be trained that way, you can snag it very tightly with the wire, and untwist it once it has grown comfortable with its new position--if you do this with a zip tie, it'd be hard to cut off without cutting your plant).  The fact that it's reusable is probably one of the biggest pluses, though; you can't run out!  Just a little food for thought.
I got a spool of green coated wire at Home dePot for $5 (enough to tie down my four plants and still have half left).  They sell similar products at some garden centers (in the US, at least, idk about Oz).

Yea I might get some coated wire, I'm having some issues with the Zip ties as they're kind of violent when I zip them up, and it causes me to jerk in a direction at my plants sometimes, which today has caused me to snap one of the stems on the topped plant

The 400W HPS is still not working today, I'm assuming its dead. The seller isn't offering any form of resolution yet and I'm getting really impatient. I can see that the plants are starting to stretch a little bit already, I had to tie them down again today. I really do not want to flower under 160W of CFL :nonono:

Here's some photos of the snapped stem. It looks pretty bad in the photo and I suppose its not exactly good but I'm not hugely concerned, it should take it as a suppercrop and thicken up after a few days, or it will die off and it will be topped again

Thanks for all the support so far, it makes it alot more fun to update a log with viewers:awesomenod:

Explosive growth in the last week, they're loving their new homes. That snapped stem has recovered nicely, and its well on its way to being 100% I can't wait to plug that new 400W HPS in tomorrow, they're gonna love it.

It might be a bit early, but I'm freaking out pretty hardcore that they are all male, I'm seeing some confusing signs of sex and but can't get a good photo to show you guys  :crankey:

Making the most of my free supporter account while I can, so here's some pictures :jah:

I know it doesn't look like much to you guys but they have exploded since that 400 came back on, and they instantly got alot thirstier.

I'm leaving for 10days over December/January and I'm kinda worried that I'm not gonna be here during what could be near the end of flowering, but I'm still not quite sure when I want to switch to 12/12, I'm kind of playing it by ear, so far, and since I found out I was leaving the state I've been freaking out about what to do with them while I'm gone. If anyone has any suggestions please post them . Or hopefully I can find a friend to come water and take care of them *cough cough* Inbred *cough cough*

I have definitely seen Jorge Cervantes do the pin hole in a big water bottle tek for an outdoor guerrilla grow, but I'm not sure about it covering a week. I'm no expert by any means, though.

T-Rex--They are looking very good and healthy. The low stress training and super cropping seem to be working well for you, as well. Your plants are about the same size as mine(maybe a tad smaller), but your stems are thicker. I've had a fan blowing on my girls constantly, too. Maybe yours' are thicker as a result of the super cropping? That's my guess anyway. Regardless, you're doing great! Thanks for the great pics and log. Reading about others' experiences has been helping me work the kinks out of my own grow a lot faster.

Yea I was thinking about installing a dripline somehow, but I'm more worried about it not getting any nutes for a week, and starving or something.

Thanks for the replies! yea that snapped stem definitely thickened up that particular stem, I didn't get a shot of the others because they are shrouded in leaves, and I can't see them very well, I'm actually thinking about doing some pruning to let more light into the undergrowth, because right now its completely shaded. I'm not feeding them particularly heavy, they get one full strength feeding a week and they seem to be liking that so I don't really want to over do it.

Over all I'm pretty happy with my progress, I'm thinking about flowering in about 2-4weeks

Update - Day fiddy

Sorry for flooding with updates, but lots has happened today!

I killed my first male today, it was hard but I knew I had to do it. I found a little ballsack hanging from a node and I ripped the whole thing out. The two remaining females (I'm pretty sure but not 100%) were transplanted into bigger pots today, I used Inverted's method of shaking the root clump loose before planting them again, and then they received some pretty heavy LST in prep for the new growth

While I had them out of the pots I took the chance to prune some of the undergrowth to help airflow, there was lots of stuff hidden by all the bigger leaves and they weren't going to be anything special, so I snipped them.

Now when I was transplanting the plant with the damaged stem, I kinda accidentally topped the plant about 5" above where it was damaged. This plant has pretty taken alot of damage, and I'm worried she might herm, but in saying that, if the worst thing to come out of this was a few seeds in my bud, I'll take that happily. This was the plant I already topped by accident, so the fact that its happened twice is kind of embarrassing on my part. I swear, I do try to take care of them! so now I'm expecting 3tops which is not what I planned at all, but I took the 5" cutting and dipped it into rooting formula and put it into a pot of soil and perlite, so hopefully I'll be back up to 3 plants again

Male:

And the rest:

Topped, again

The clone

Thanks for stopping by!

It was a good idea to seriously agitate those roots.  When I get something that root bound I will take a utility knife and run it down the sides of the root mass.  Sure, it causes damage.  But my plants always seem to do twice as well after a heavy score than if not agitated at all.

This would also be a great time to introduce some mycorrhizal fungi if you have not already.  Even if you had applied it earlier, it would be a good time for a second application since heavy soil disruption can stunt or kill beneficial fungi.

plus when the roots are rootbound the can block other roots going through, then you can get circling and girdling, agitating is definitely benefeficial

im fairly sure i saw 2 fems when i was over there, they will love that transplant :jah:

when I put it into soil I forgot to give it a water  I was distracted and when I checked it yesterday it wasn't looking good, I watered it but it was a bit late, today I checked again and I just threw it out, it was a bit late to try revive it, plus it wasn't an intentional clone so it wasn't actually dipped into rooting hormone or planted for ~1hour after it was cut

I have yet more bad news:
Both the plants have either gone hermie or are male, I'm gonna flower anyway to see if I can still score some smoke out of it, and the seeds would be good because they would all be fem'd but if they do turn out to be male I'm gonna cut them all down and start again next year

I suppose these are the risks involved with popping 3 bagseeds and hoping for the best

Yea but shit happens I guess, I was lucky last year when I popped 2 seeds and they were both female, I guess I just ran out of luck  this was more of a learning experience to get my head around indoor, I'm still going to maintain and flower them with hopes of scoring some bud, no point killing them off now. I think I've done a pretty good job with them, and I was never one to count his chickens before they hatched, so I'm not hugely pissed off anyway.

Update - Day 54 - First day of flowering

As the update says, I switched to flowering today. But since this happened
Quote:

I have yet more bad news:
Both the plants have either gone hermie or are male, I'm gonna flower anyway to see if I can still score some smoke out of it, and the seeds would be good because they would all be fem'd but if they do turn out to be male I'm gonna cut them all down and start again next year

I'm not guaranteed any buds yet, but I know for sure one is a hermi, the other I'm not 100% on yet, so when your smoking your next bowl, say a quick prayer for T-Rex in Australia, and hope that he gets some bud

I wouldn't mind hermie's, I'm almost outta seeds and these plants have really good genetics so some fem'd seed wouldn't go astray, they're strong and forgiving to novice growers, I'm sure I could have killed any name brand bud by now they way I've been treating them.

The LST is working uber awesomely so I'm gonna stick with it and maybe try to perfect my technique over the next few logs (I hope) they have really started to bush out and both have a really thick dense canopy, though one is noticeably denser than the other, but that's just my training. Lots of tops are poking up through the canopy so I'm thinking its prime time to switch to 12/12. I went and got myself a fancy pants timer with a battery backup to keep time if everything fucks up, it wont run the lights but it will be able to save the schedule should the power die.

Also, I made the switch from cable ties to coated wire on the recommendation of a few members, and it's LOADS easier to handle and I feel like a douche for not just going to spend the $3 earlier

Gotta head back to Bunnings and grab some nutes for flowering, I'm pretty sure I know what I need but if somebody could just give me a  to let me know I'm on the right track that would help, I didn't use any nutes for flowering on my first grow, but I know I need something with an N-P-K ratio of around 5-20-5?

Sorry for the lack of photos, I was baked, It was cold and I was hungry

Pics of preflowers?

For nutes, I suggest Pureblend Pro Bloom + Liquid Karma.

I've got amazing results with these two.

it would be the disturbances in the light cycle that would of made them hermie, youl want to make sure you have no light leaks in your room, for your dark cycle in flowering when you do a fo' serious crop, or they will probably go hermie

i will send them my good vibes when i have my next fat cone

miss you rex. oh by the way i cant do friday

I sometimes go check the temps in my tent with a flashlight, but I'm only in there for 10-30 seconds at most. Is this a problem, too? I wouldn't think so.

that should be ok, just try to limit their light to anything that they would get from a full moon, I have a green CFL that I got from the op shop for $3 and that's a spectrum they don't use so I could have it on for 30mins and they would be fine

Best thing is to get a cheap thermometer that has a remote probes to go outside, you set it outsdie the grow room and have the probe inside the grow area.

So just went up to my shed and found out the timer hasn't been turning anything off  So they haven't gone into flowering yet, I can't believe how much shit had gone wrong with this grow, but I guess that's why its my first indoor.

I'll fix the timer tomorrow, I'm too high and people are over

Update - Day 60 (still vegging)

Well and the title would tell you, my timer has been weird and not actually turned off yet, so their still on 24hour light, but I've figured out its because even when my 400W HPS is turned off, its stays on...

...I don't know why, the only way I can actually turn it off is by unplugging it, which is fucking retarted. The CFL's and the fan turn off, along with everything else, but not the 400W HPS  I might just set a timer on my phone and do it myself, until I figure this out, or get a new timer.
Fucking pissed
:kingcrankey:

Never the less, I'm almost glad they didn't switch to flowering, because they beefed up alot in the last week, I finally have a real nice fat bush happening.
These photos were taken yesterday, immediately after I LST'd the shit out of them, I'll update again in a day or two when they are looking nicer, I couldn't be bothered getting them out into the sun so I just snuck photos of them under the lights.

Sorry dudes, Its over

I've abandoned this log, the whole timer situation has really fucked me and that plus exams I've really had no time to care for and maintain them, I forgot to water them one day last week and they are sooo thirsty that they were wilted to the shit when I went in there the next day, I did revive it and they are perfectly healthy plants, but I've just let it go a bit too long and now they are so rootbound its ridiculous.

I have no regrets other than the fact I probably should be more prepared for my next grow, but I'm looking at this log as a learning experience. I've really gotten to understand LST and how it works, so that will definitely be how I train next time as well .

Thanks to everyone for your comments and support, keep watch for my next log!

Eh, I'd grow em out anyway personally, but that's only because I'll be moving before I start another grow. If you're staying in the same spot I'd trash them to keep the grow area pollen-free.

Either way, good luck man and try to keep us updated if you can.

Small Update

So I ended up throwing them outside, its nice and sunny right now so I think I'll just let them flower outdoors, might throw them back under the 400W HPS every now and then to help them fatten out, but this will now pretty much be an outdoor grow.

They need to be transplanted into bigger pots BAD but I haven't had the time, I'll probably do it tomorrow. I know its bad to transplant when they've already gone into flowering but they definitely need it and they will only be on day 2 of flower so I think it should be fine.

They are pretty fat now, even though they are completely rootbound, the LST has gotten a bit sloppy but I'm not fussed now that they're flowering.

Pics tomorrow!

Yea its a tad early but the suns nice and strong, and when they finish I can just chop them down. I am a little worried because our spring is kinda shitty this year, but summer is soon and it will be hitting 35degree's and upwards so there shouldn't be a huge problem

No photos today sorry, its raining outside and I just got changed

Day 83 - Still vegging

Sorry I haven't updated earlier, I was just lazy haha

So the LST got a bit sloppy because I kinda just threw them outside and left them to fend for themselves for a week or two, but I transplanted them into their final pot size finally, and when I did that I LST'd the shit outta them, and even did some super cropping to the shoots that were reaching out of the canopy. I have shit loads of photos, but they are all from different time periods. Some are from before the transplant and the newest are from 2-3 days ago. I still haven't taken any shots of the super cropping, but you will see its effects in the next update hopefully

LST stems :crazy2:

And then plant shots

Tell me what you think! The third plant photo is the best photo I've taken of a cannabis plant I think. The lighting could have been better but I love how you can see the stem reach out into the flat canopy I've crafted

Day 89 - First few days of Flowering

So they started to flower a few days ago, just after my super cropping, which, quite frankly I kinda fucked up. First few branches I tried I didn't dig my nail in far enough to kink the bend, and they ended up snapping when I bent them over  none broke off thankfully, but there were open wounds all over the place. They'll be fine, but I'm kinda pissed I didn't do a better job.

And then today as I went to take some photos and check up on them, I realized I left them in super heavy rain for a while, and I'm pretty sure they took some hail damage, I looked around but there was nothing serious, until when I was looking at the super crop I did to the main top of my un-topped plant, and accidentally ripped off the whole fucking thing  this is the third time I've done that, and now both plants are topped, unfortunately this one happened a few days into flowering.

I threw the top in some water then dipped it in rooting hormone and planted it in hopes of keeping it alive, so we'll see what happens
The clone and where it came from

Some of my shit attempt's at super cropping

And a better one

Flowering begins! :awesomenod:

Hey Rex, I have super-wrecked stems trying to tie them down, snapped them right in half. I took a garbage bag twist tie and wrapped it around the broken pieces like a splint and the dam thing recovered. It was actually stronger at the break than it was anywhere else on the stem. These plants forgive a lot of abuse, its amazing.

Pics look great by the way, and Love the santa hat!

Update - Day 100

Just a quick update for those of you watching  Sorry for the late updates, not alot has happened and I've been a busy man

They are definitely flowering now, and already have a purple hue in the tips, since the last bud I got from the same seeds was a deep purple I'm guessing its in the phenotype :awesomenod: They are super Hermi, like, super massive hermi, but since I'm outta seeds, this ain't such a bad thing

Summer has well and truly set in, my carrots, lettuce and tomatoes have beefed up alot, and my corn is starting to produce! This in exciting because I've never grown it before :awesomenod:

Also, Sativa and San Pedro

Nah its early summer, here summer starts in December :awesomenod: And yea I was worried about that, I'll keep them separate from the few seeds I have left, but I'll probably use them anyway at some point. Strains are hard to come by down under, but hopefully I'll be fixing that soon:lol:

I don't understand what the problem is, you guys know I'm on the other hemisphere so our seasons are reversed yeah?

  •     * Summer: December to February
  •     * Autumn: March to May
  •     * Winter: June to August
  •     * Spring: September to November

I suppose if they are flowering earlier than they should be it would be because I put them from 24h lights to outdoors and the lighting hours changed

Xmas Update - Day 111

Merry Christmas to everyone from Australia, I'm going away for the New Year and I wont be able to update for a while so I figured why not do it now  They are getting reeeeaaaaal purple in their tips, and there's a lot of growth tips starting to fatten out and look like the beginnings of a couple main cola's :awesomenod:

Starting to get a build up of resin on the forming buds and surrounding leaves, and they are getting noticeably smellier. I MISSED THE SMELL OF GROWING DANK IN MY BACKYARD.

Some photos with my foot for reference, and some with my guard cat on patrol for rippers and animals

Got a call at 6am this morning informing me that the cops just rolled through my place and took my babies. Probably won't be growing again for a while, thanks for everyone who helped me out and everyone who was watching.

That's up north, where I'm actually on holiday right now. I'm guessing they were knocking on my door for a while before they decided to just open the gate and walk around back, once they found the plants they apparently went into the shed and found my HPS/CFL arrangement, luckily its unplugged and not in use, so I dunno how they're gonna go with that, all they have so far are my plants.

Damn that sucks man. They dont have the right to just go up in your house when you're not there.

Here in oregon i grow right in the open in my backyard and cops dont seem to care because how common its getting. But i bet if i left my house like that they would probably do the same thing.

Gotta watch the tweekers though. I got jacked this years outdooor. :paranoid:

hey back when i was on juvenile probation i was stupid and let them boss me around so dont let them do that to you.

you dont have to quit smoking weed. make sure you tell them that it is your spiritual belief (religious thing) and that there isnt anything "mans kingdom" can do to stop that because you believe in "higher energies"

just hit em with some buddhist shit lol and they cant say nothing to you. you just gotta be smart and let them know that smoking personal amounts of cannabis on your own time isnt illegal but possessing it is...i love lupils

you are still gonna have to do whatever they want to throw at you like fines and such and hopefully not jail time. but if they try to send you to some drug counseling shit you tell them watsup. its your personal beliefs and they cant do anything about that. just speak up im tellin you

sometimes i wish i could go back into time when i was a teenager on probation to let my p.o know watsup everytime he tried to U.A me. just make sure you dont sign the wrong thing saying something you wouldnt conform to like not smoking

watch what you sign or check on the papers they give you and let them know you aint gonna stop smokin :vaped:

I been through that shit and know about the lupils. Make sure you let your aura shine bright through the courtroom and speak to the judge with confidence and let him know watsup too. Be yourself and say what you truly feel :stoned::thumbup:

Thanks guys, but I'll probably just tell them the truth, my family and I have always been interested in gardening, and this was for more experience than personal gain, if I was trying to sell them I wouldn't have LST'd the shit outta them and tried to maintain a small bush. I share the lights in the shed with my mum who used it to start her annuals off mid winter so by the time she can plant them outside they are head and shoulders above any naturally grown vegetables or flowers, and I had absolutely no intention of selling any of it.

To be honest I was almost bored with it, my interests change so much I'll be halfway through a project and wanna start another already, I got a book on Bonsai's for xmas so I'm gonna start on that next
