yeah man I'm sorry to say but you were definitely too early.

there should be very few white hairs if any when you harvest. it's a very rare strain that should be chopped with that many white hairs.

I'm sure it'll still be a delicious smoke (and beautiful btw, I love the purple), but you probably lost some weight, and the high will be much more racy and clear than if you had let her go a little longer

That sucks because I was going for a slow mello sort of baked more then a racey ripped.

Well, its happened now and there's nothing I can do, I'll just have to make sure that I'm alot more patient with drying/curing lol. And I still have another plant to be harvested, and she's about a month off I think

I'll make sure to check with everyone before chopping her, this is my first harvest and I just got caught up in the excitement.:frown:

nice buds
you did harvest a bit early, but I've seen plenty of people pick a lot earlier on their first grow. You'll still get at least an ounce of it.

You're right, the other one looks to have about a month left, it's about the same progress as my plant.

 welcome to the world of manicuring, next year you'll probably be spending at least a whole day trimming. But it's a such a rewarding job seeing a freshly manicured bud after you've put in the work.

I don't think there's a grower on this planet who didn't chop a bit early on their first grow. After watching those babies grow for 4 months it's basically impossible NOT to get excited and hack them down

Yeah, when I finally have the grow I want about to be harvested, I could see myself having to be physically restrained

It's a beautiful thing though, kinda sad too, but like the end of a journey in a way.

God she was just sitting there teasing me for the last few days.
"You wanna smoke me. Don't you, I can see it in your eyes your bastard. Well do it. SMOKE ME."

Ah well she's drying in the back now, btw if anyone has a quick and easy method to get all the resin off my scissors and fingers that would be awesome because I feel like spider man right now.

Next plant will not fall before her prime, I'll make sure of it:ganja:

Use the scissors to scrape it off your fingers and roll it into a ball. That's some nice finger hash  :vaped:

Soap and detergent helps a lot to get any leftover stickyness of yours hands.

I'd just say fuck it with the scissors and use them just for that purpose from now on and if you need a new pair for something, just go buy them.

As far as the resin on fingers, I would have to go with soap and water.  You snuck a little toke in or you waitin for it to dry?

Nah I'm doing it properly, figured that if I messed up a bit on the harvest side of things I should at least try to make up for it in the dry/cure process
